Good Lord, the animation in this 3 minute video completely trashes the entire programming lineup of today's Nick...hard to believe in today's generation that this much production was put into just network bumpers.
I know I said this before but what made these bumpers work was that they were timeless. they weren't trying to be hip or popular. they were trying to be fun.

Mona Lisa’s eyes going crazy terrified me and still does. Painting that have their faces move scare me like Painty The Pirate (the painting in the beginning of the Spongebob theme song). He still scares me. 😟 Update: Mona Lisa’s eyes going crazy doesn’t terrify me anymore but Painty still does

No, its just chalk. It is made by employees of the nickelodeon bumper, because it draws by chalk or a colored pencil. They don’t know if they are gonna guess it?.
Oh, wow, these really did things to me. I've been on a hardcore nostalgia spiral for the last week, watching 80s and 90s stuff from my childhood, but somehow this is one of the only things that almost made me cry. I think it's because these are such pure memory time capsules. Other things like theme songs you might hear occasionally over the years, but these are just frozen in time until your brain encounters them 30 years later and you realize they've been stored in there the entire time. How did you even DO all this shit? Are you some kind of wizard? You're just using clips from people's old VHS and stuff, you don't have access to the studio archives?
When you said that, I kind of imagined the Top of the Hour characters playing The Star Spangled Banner on different instruments (and maybe a choir of characters from different bumpers singing the lyrics)
I wish it would stop becoming normal for these studios to lose more and more of their soul with time. I understand why it happens, it's just so depressing. I want kids to know what it looks like when actual care is put into something
The video is from the 90's . But the audio sounds more like if Nickelodeon was made back in the late 50's / 60's. Imagine if someone were to take these audio clips and give them animation style's of the 50's / 60's. How neat would that be? Well see you next five years!

you could probably import these into garageband and export it as a ringtone directly on the device itself i know garageband can export ringtones since i’ve done that a couple of times with garageband loops
