Thank you for the excellent video! the other cast ons look good but seem too complicated for a toe up beginner like myself. Keep up the good work! Now I can cast on my first sock without feeling nauseous.
Very clear and straight forward instructions. Why, oh why do instructors insist on demonstrating with dark yarn? Being a proficient knitter you certainly must realize it’s much easier to see work on lighter yarn.
Thank you sooooo much!!! I can finely do this cast on. I have Watched multiple videos trying to start the toe up sock and I could not get it!!! I am ready for my sockodyssey!!!!
I haven't had any success with tightening my stitches at the end. You started at the working-yarn end, but I get stuck with a lot of excess yarn on the right side that way. Should I start from the other end and move all the excess toward the working yarn?
Ok u show how to do the figure eight cast on,but using the same cast on how do u do it on three dpn's as I have to put four stitches on # 1and 3 # two has eight stitches. Confused
Thank you for watching our video. Be sure to subscribe and turn on notifications. Happy knitting everyone!
Excellent demonstration and easiest for the eight figure cast on. Thank you so much!
I cannot believe how easy this is -- I have been afraid of it and finally found someone who actually made it look easy
This is the best figure eight cast on I've seen yet! Thank you! You made my new project much easier! :) Much appreciated!

OMGsh! Thanks! You have no idea how this has helped me
THANK YOU
Life saver! I did Judy's and came out too tight making it difficult to get to the second row even...
Nice. How is this different from Judy's Magic Cast on?

This might be easier to see if you use lighter yarn and a little more light. Thanks, though.
Thank you *^_^*

she does address it in the video. try watching it again. hope this helps
Still lost. I have to rely on both video and good clear captions, and so I tend to be lost on most all sock knitting videos.
This cast on looks the same as the magic cast I just watch where you used both endsof the yarn - one for each needle rocking of your thumb and finger
This video is blurry. I can't see what's happening with the stitches :(
