Did you also install a camera in the little pod under the chin? That is where the IRST normally is, which sends actual camera data to the cockpit. I just got my F14 and I am gonna install a Runcam high definition camera in it, and I will be able to fly with video

Holy Cow! How many channels did you need to do all that? 20? And I bet you have like 25 servos in there. The one thing that has always bothered me about the Freewing F-14 is those gear. I love what you did with the 90 degree retracts and the sequenced gear doors.
Holy cow! How many channels are you running to operate all of that via remote? A properly rigged model uses 9 channels I believe to disable the ailerons for proper flying when wings are swept back and also decrease the taileron angles to about half also when in same said configuration. Of course it's not required, but it's best for optimal flying conditions in swept wing config. From the factory only requires 7 channels.

Those lazies at Freewing... should look at your model to learn how models have to be offered to us. At least the arresting hook could be done by them! I LOVE your Tomcat!!

Amazing mechanical features on a beautiful platform. However... sorry but your graphics are all wrong. First of all, you have a mixed bag of squadron markings! You have markings from VF-2, VF-84 & VF-103. VF-84 never flew the D model. You have the proper marking for the VF-84 bottom & outer tail as "AJ", but then you incorrectly have "AA" on the inside tail; which is a different air wing. In fact, that "AA" appears to be from VF-103. While you went for the VF-84 rear, you then switched up & have the front sash from VF2 in front. VF-84's was black & gold like the tail. You also marked the vanes as "U.S.S. CONSTELLATION" & VF-84 never served on the Connie. Your modex "101" is incorrect for VF-84, should be a 200 series. Finally, not a squadron marking, but general paint... The slots where the wings slide into should be an off white-grayish color, as those are the soft air bags that the wing/flaps slide over during wing sweep. They were never painted, let alone black - as the Sun would deteriorate the bags too quickly. Even VX-9's black Vandy 1 never had them painted.
