    I am a instructor at a truck driving school and some guys from 🇮🇷 gifted me prayer beads 📿 , I was humbled and honored that they thought so much of me , and then I learned it’s part of the culture. Beautiful traditions and culture

    Interesting!! I have a set made from camel bone and carry it daily. I count with them, and they are good for stress. This lad definitely needs his own show 😅

    Hamad is trully a cool guy. I love watching him. Stress reliever.. 😄😄😄😯... I highly appreciate qataris from their speaking ability. Im working in a cafe from where the concept is to attract all qatari to dine in and i dont have to extract my little arabic vocabulary because their english is good. Im amazed. I worked in KSA though. 😯😯

    We use it for dhikir in Turkey and it is not permitted for us to use it as an accessory

    I personally carry around and use a Basque rosary on a chain. It really does make a great tool for meditation and fidgeting haha

    In Heraklion we went to see the movie The Third Man. At the beginning men were fairly slow but as the movie became more exciting the worry beads became louder. It was funny.

    In India we call them mala beads. They r used by sikh Muslim n hindu
    I’m glad Mr q's mum is Qatari, not a westerner. That commenter is a disgrace.

      Anybody with a passport is Qatari. Then there are those that I personally consider an honorary Qatari because they embrace the culture, love the country and want to make it better - Mr. Q

      The same word worry beads I've heard a lot in Kuwait in the mid 90s and I've seen many in Kuwait use the Misbah as a stress reliever or just fidget.

      they're tasbih beads not dhikr beads, dhikr is a completely different thing. tasbih is what people called it when it was invented

      Nope. Other than being beads, they’re completely different. The rosary is a prayer tool to help meditate on the mysteries of the life of Jesus with short prayers. The other is to help count the repetitions.

    1:15 What is it used for today? Man, we in Central Asia still use it only for Tasbeeh and respectfully keep it. If it was used for Tasbih, it can still be used for Tasbih. The things you have listed tells how much of respect you have lost towards the religion and your traditions...

      @@goodboi4939 The 33 are the the number of zikr most Muslim do, it was told in hadeeth. The 99 are Allah's name. Other religion use other different number of beads. Every religion can use it both for religion use or as a stress reliever, it's just a bead in the first place so wouldn't be a problem.

      Qatari men don’t wear jewelry because it’s mostly gold and Muslim men can’t wear gold because it’s forbidden in Islam but a woman can wear gold

    If there is no correlation between your religion, and other religions that use beads in worship, then what is significance of beads in Islamic worship? I find it hard to believe you guys don't have some kind of secret code centered around the use of beads in worship. Of course, what I believe won't prompt truth from you or the other religions that use them. It's a fair question though.
