A clear demonstration of the real-world usefulness of ac theory? Congratulations, and sign me up.

These are all single phase motors? Wouldn’t you take KVA / (480V x 1.732) to get line current if three phase?

I wish you would have went further and calculated the capacitor size in Farads. Other than that I really enjoyed the tutorial.

In actual electrical system, what will be the voltage rating of the capacitor that should be installed? remember, capacitor is sensitive to voltage.

hi.. can use this method for 3 phase ac or no? if the load is inductive or capacitive, can we assume the P is same as resistive load like shown in the video?

Thanks for the video , can you tell how will we take power factor in a system , example in 5 storey hotel building, if we take the distribution boards, then Sub main DB and main DB load schedule,we only assume the power factor to be 0.8 or 0.85 and do the rest of the calculation, like current, wattage etc... But when it's comes the question of power factor- capacitor bank , how will we calculate the existing power factor with load schedule, Theoretically...
    Kindly help me out. Thanks

Correct me if I'm wrong..from first step why 756 why not 746? Thanks
