the caps inside the caps are in series. caps work opposite of resistors so the capacity is lowered in series, so when one of the caps fail, the capacity increases

No. Do not work on live Medium Voltage equipment. It is very dangerous.

How are u using an LCR meter with a capacitance range to 20 mfd to measure 80 mfd?

Remember the KVAR=V^2/XC but XC=10^6/(2πfC) therefore KVAR=V^2 * 2πfC / 10^6, C=KVAR * 10^ 6 / (V^2 x 2πf). V in kilovolts, f is 60 hz

I believe that size capacitor is measured in Mega farads not micro farads. But great video otherwise.
