My favorite fighter all-time. There are 3 things that make a fighter popular: wins, fight style, and persona. Wanderlei did all 3 at the highest level. His run in Pride was legendary. There isn't a more entertaining style of fighting than what he brought. And his persona was "The Axe Murderer," the most intimidating dude out there.

I briefly met silva in an mma event as a child. Cool guy, he was surrounded by women lol, he took a picture with me, and signed my shirt. He is a violent psychopath, but he balances it out with a great personality outside the cage. Decent guy.

You're jealous asf. None of his fights were rigged. He was past his prime when he fought in UFC and Bellator. He lost his prime when PrideFC closes, and also his style was more like street style stomping and soccer kicking etc. If we talk about Krazy Horse, it was sucker punch, 90% of MMA fighters can be affected by it, not only Wanderlei Silva, and he's ranked top 3 lhw of all time. I mean cry about it, you have no proof or clue about his fights💀🏼

As a American I got to honestly say one of my favorite fighters of all time. I remember watching his pride fights on DVD and just going holy shit he's not tryingvto knock them out hes trying to kill them. Definitely deserved to be in the hall of fame. Glad he is and will forever be.
