Can I create shortcuts to teams/channels on the Sidebar? I used to use Slack, which allowed this. It was a great way to pin key conversations, people, group chats, channels etc... to the Sidebar so you could immediately see what you want to see
This is great information, however in large organizations, folks are in so many different teams, you would think MS would give us the ability to at least alphabetize the teams. Thanks for the good information.
Excellent point. My suggestion is to hide Teams you don't care about. Pin the channels you really need, and drag and drop the visible teams and put them in the order you want. Thanks, Sam.
Chris can you hide / minimise the entire column of teams? Looked around and seems you cannot, takes up a lot of real estate once working in a particular Channel. Specifically this is a problem when working on a list, I know I can pop out the tab which makes it full screen which is a workaround we use.
Why Teams when you are arranging folders by numbers 1, 2 , 3 ,4 etc... folder 11 is arranged after 1 , in this fashion 1, "11", 2, 3 , 4 how can I possibly make 11, being arranged after number 10 ?
The default number to create channel is set to 30 but I need around 100 channels to be created for my org. To enable creating more than 30 channel, i could find on the online resource to find the settings within manage teams and look for "allow to create or update channel" however, I do not see that options. As far as my knowledge, i do have privileged admin access or Have I not? Your input/suggestion is appreciated.
What is your suggestion for a team that has 3 sub-teams inside? I say sub-teams because tasks and projects may be shared. then, each sub-team has projects where elements outside the group can participate.

There is a way to rearrange channels inside a team. Rename it. It rearranges it by alphabetical order.
That is correct, but there is no other way to rearrange the channels.

You can have 200 channels per team.
