Other than their music being fantastic, the other great part is their band story and the story of John Goblikon that they used to have on their Facebook page (I think they've changed it to something different now). It basically went that they were a garage band that got jumped and kidnapped by a bunch of goblins in a van, and they were taken to a secret location in the woods where they were forced to play goblin worship music or the goblins would come find them and eat them. Hence songs like Goblins Are Better Than Trolls and the whole Goblin Island first album. And John Goblikon is a reject from the goblin group and wanted a job, so the guys felt sorry for him and let him tour with them.
It's funny you mention they had a cool gimmick, cause they actually have another song titled "we need a gimmick" where John Goblikon (that's the green dude's name) and the band themselves try to figure out what the band's gimmick is gonna be so they can make it in the music industry. Check it out it's pretty great (I didn't spoil much by the way don't worry)

Now I have some bands again that everyone who doesn't know them should check out: Ihsahn - guitar player/singer of norwegian Black Metal band Emperor, playing some great Progressive Metal, having left most of the Black Metal behind somewhere on the way. Primordial - irish Black Metal/Celtic Folk band, mostly clean vocals nowadays, great stuff, hard to describe. The I'll once again tell you to go check out Author & Punisher. Great stuff, some Industrial/Doom/Whatever. It's good, and with the instruments used in this one man band, it gets even more interesting.
