This very site is full of hints to keep safe when alone. Ex: when parking in a Cracker Barrel parking lot, get organized in daylight then retire to van after lot fills up later. If getting take out, get an extra cup/drink so it looks like there's another person in your party. Not trying to make anxiety worse, it is probably part of your grieving, but there is NO safe place. You already know this. As your grief mellows to warm memories, living the dream you shared will be the Best Way to keep him in your life. Make the Memory a Blessing! LIFE IS GOOD!!!
To melt freezer ice--- 1) open van doors 2) remove all items in freezer and put them in a garbage bag 3) put a fan that blows into the freezer in front of the freezer 4) run the fan for an hour 5) wipe down area Don't forget to put freezer contents back

Maybe a camping loo, which is basically a drum bucket(like from Lowe's) lined with very strong plastic bag (construction trash bag) would be easier. Bury the contents and rinse out bag. Good for tent campers too.

Plus, I sometimes make a mess, do it's contained like a regular toilet. And then, I hate making more plastic waste, so dumping my "bio waste" in a regular toilet, then taking the plastic bag outside and washing using a hose. it works for me. PS, I hate those outhouses. And I don't like walking along trying to find my way in the dark.
You need to get a 5 gallon bucket, put a pool noodle around the rim, throw a can liner in it, and use it as a toilet. It's much better and easier than copping a squat outside in full view of other people. You can use it inside your van, then just take out the can liner and throw it away. You can also grab a blanket, drape it over your doors, and use it as a cover so you can unload in private. I made mine for an emergency toilet for when I go fishing, and it works great. I would recommend making one, all it takes is a 5 gallon bucket, a pool noodle, and some duct tape... 😉👍💯
We used our e-tool (the shovel) in the Infantry for that, as well as digging and taking someone’s head off. A little tip… after digging your cat hole, fold the shovel over at a 90 degree angle and you have yourself a one cheek seat! Keep up the great content!!! All the best…

Can use bottles water and only as much as you need for the amount of ice you need. Unused ice goes back to the reservoir to make ice later when plugged back in. It makes ice in just a couple of minutes....and it's small, like 12x12x12.... so easy to stow.
You can get a countertop ice machine that can convert to battery , just saying depending how often you need ice ! Plus with battery power you can run it outside your van when parked
I agree with everything. But I use my shovel mostly for putting cable into the ground. So people don’t trip over them. IMHO enough solar and battery is important to work comfortably.

You also need to carry a 2x2 foot piece of BC plywood, this way if you have to jack your van up on muddy or soggy ground you can place the plywood down first then place your jack on top of it so it will not sink when you try to jack your van up.

What do you do for work? I’m looking for a job to do from home and all that seems available is MLM’s or a commission based job 🙄 which I’m terrible at because of my personal problems. I also couldn’t complete college because I fell into severe depression and I had an eating disorder. I also refused to leave my house for 3 years at that time. Fast forward to now, I’m a stay at home mom and a wife to a diabetic husband who just received horrible news concerning his eyesight. I also found out recently that my mother (who I live with) has a disease that is slowly killing her. Why am I even writing this for strangers to see? Well sometimes it helps to get an outside perspective. I’m just dealing with a lot right now and have been thinking things I shouldn’t. Sorry for the negativity but I just felt like I needed to write to someone. Anyways thank you for the video.

Bigger frig and freezer. Most people grossly under estimate the need for food cold storage. They are now high efficiency.
