Hello Sir!! im from asia.. I've got a pair of yellow parrot and i dont know how much to feed them and how many times a day? They are about 4 inches . Coulf you please help:'(
I always enjoy your blood parrot videos. My dream is to own a pair one day. I don't have a t tank big enough yet, but I hope to get one in the future. I currently have a 29 gallon tank, but I'm afraid that a pair would outgrow that size pretty quickly
Hello, i love your channel, and i’m running low on food and is looking for new types of foods for my parrots to try i was wondering what is the brand for the shrimp pellets?
hikari and omega one are both awesome affordable brands! hikari for high nutrition and quick growth, omega one if your tank is overstocked and you need lower waste.
My parrot fish has a big cauliflower growth on him .Still eats and swims ok and is 15. He only has flakes ,shrimp and bloodworms dried. Should I start pellets as he is turning white in spots
Hi , i bought a blood parrot fish 4 days ago . I kept a ceramic pot in the water for its hiding spot . The thing is its not eating much . It just keeps hiding in there would only take a bite or two of the pallets that would sink down due to filter current . I am feeding her pallets that i have for the goldfish . P.s the blood parrot is in a separate tank .
Blood Parrots are shy fish, it will take some time for them to get comfortable. Try to walk toward the tank slowly if they see you slowly approaching from far they don't get as scared.
My first parrot took 5 days to come out of hiding. He constantly stayed behind the sponge filter for 5 days straight. I added a second parrot a few days later and now both are out all of the time. It's been 2.5 weeks. Now they eat from my hand. I'm sure by now, yours are ok.
@@JoeNocella Sometimes it can take months for a BP to get comfortable, the slow approach works though, if they see you ease your way toward the tank, it's much different than if you suddenly appear in front of the tank.
I’m just wondering, do the bigger ones bully the smaller ones? I have 3 blood parrots in a 50 gal, just them. Nothing else. The biggest one bully the two smaller ones.
@@sudevsugathan3867 I would be safe and put Blood Parrots only with other Blood Parrots. If you want you can try to add one Green Terror with them or one Black Convict. Don't do two Terrors or Convicts, because if one is male and one is female they will lay eggs and fight against the Parrots, and your tank will be violent.
Actually I feed them every other day now. They are doing fine with that schedule. And I don't have as much time for tank maintenance as I used to so less waste means less water changes.

Just bought a parrot he’s huge was in fish shop in a week so I bought him today
Maybe they’re nervous because they’re camera shy
Tell me names all food u using that specially for parrots ..
Can they eat flakes too? Also how big is your tank because I have one similar and want to put more parrot fish in
Hi, my yello parrot fish getting fade can you tell me which food i should use ?
Blood worms
I just got to red blood parrots what food would you suggest makes their colors brighter
Don't stick to one food. Feed them a variety of pellets, flakes, shrimp pellets, and blood worms. I change their meal usually every other time.
I’m just wondering, do the bigger ones bully the smaller ones? I have 3 blood parrots in a 50 gal, just them. Nothing else. The biggest one bully the two smaller ones.
I don't have that problem, it's sometimes different according to the tank or the fish
anyone can say which food is this?
could u plz mention the name of the tank mate of ur parrot fish
You are probably referring to the Treto Cichlid (Neolamprologus Tretocephalus). There is also a black convict in there.
@@Sassonic is there any aggression or compactablity issue btwn red parrot and other chichild?

@@Sassonic thq for the reply.could u plz tell me the food provided for parrot fish and terrors or convict is same?
@@sudevsugathan3867 Yes they eat the same foods.
Bro how does your bottom zebra cichlid eat bc i think all the food must be eaten by parrots
He gets his, when I feed pellets they drop quickly, I always watch :)
What size tank is that
Hi, it's a 65g "Tall"
Do you feed them twice a day?
Actually I feed them every other day now. They are doing fine with that schedule. And I don't have as much time for tank maintenance as I used to so less waste means less water changes.
