***** Many of the other riders were doping really hard too; they just didn't confess it. If you follow Lance on Strava, you know that up until today the man still exercises like a beast. Yes, he doped; but he is one hell of a rider, and that you can't deny.
Joao Pedro ::: Others tested positive, they did not need to confess. He sure is a beast, looking back to a triathlon he did when he was like 15 yrs old against pro riders, its simply incredible.
Even with the doping scandal, I still have great respect of his achievements and I still consider him among the best. Big parts of the cyclers cheated some way and I'm still wondering who would have won when everyone played fair. But even with dope, you don't just win seven tours in a row.
Yup one big thing is by all accounts all the GC riders of that time were on the same stuff as lance so although it’s technically not legal I think it was fair game.
haha i can't agree more the other problem is trying to get back on that old bike the gearing makes it almost impossible where i live with so many hills
2001 tour of switzerland, 1999 too, not sure which race. If you think passing tests between 1999 and 2005 shows your clean, well it doesnt really. in those days the science of drugs was way ahead of the game of testing
Especially when everyone else is doing it! That's why it's just assumed that Lance HAD to be doping. Because guys like Ullrich were and they couldn't beat him. I know most people have their minds made up that he was dirty but he is still a once in a lifetime athlete. He was riding right alongside Mark Allen in triathlons when he was 15!! I guess he had to be doping then too. And for those that don't know, Allen was the world's best triathlete at that time.
1:30 "What is it exactly that makes Lance a champion? A better body? A better bike? Well... there's Lance the athlete who possesses the grit and raw determination to go out and inject every ounce of his being". Even then they knew...
He's a genetic mutant for one. Came back from cancer 15 lbs lighter with the same power output. One of the highest VO2 max tests in history, psychotic in terms of discipline, training and preparation. Was a huge early adopter of technology in his training, in particular, power meters. Some athletes are just that much better or gifted from God than the other studs in their sport. LA was one of those guys. www.topendsports.com/testing/records/vo2max.htm
You have no idea what you're talking about. In the mid 1990's, Armstrong was widely considered the greatest American cyclist, and many were predicting his future success as a professional. Lance doped, and dominated competitors who were also doping. The difference was his superior physiology and mental strength. Had everyone ridden clean, he would have dominated just the same.
I heard he was also accused of doping during his comeback to cycling. Wow that man had an awesome plan. Dope like crazy, get everybody on the same program or tell them to leave the team, get the UCI on your payrole, and use LIVESTRONG as a public cancer shield to hide what was really going all. He lost it all for the fame and has fallen from icon status. He's just gonna be some regular ol' dude now.
im in the exact same boat, no pun intended. i rowed in college and now race on the road. although cycling does bring prolonged pain, nothing will compare to the mental strain that a 2k test or race can bring. rowing has got to be the most mentally taxing sport to be competitive at - very little excitement
@u368 It seems your life is centered on discrediting Lance Armstrong. I hope I will not immerse myself in the personal hell of obsession and conspiracy theories that constitues your life by commenting on this. My sneaking suspicion is that you would be devastated if Lance truly did test positive (not some backroom photocopied forms from Le'Equipe) for your life would lose its purpose. I blow my nose in your general direction and at your regurgitated conjecture.
true don't get me wrong lance is a beast and a half and over all one of the best but from owning both a light weight carbon road bike and a 1982 masi with a 10speed campy groupo, the same merckx road on....i can't imagine the pain they were in back then riding such heavy bikes
That's not true either. Avg speed in TdF hasn't dropped since LA's era...therefore, doping does nothing or they're all still doping. Hmmmmm....www.businessinsider.com/lance-armstrong-doping-tour-de-france-2015-1
Sadly, just shows how naïve people are and how easily they can be manipulated by people/media. No idea what they're talking about yet so sadly think they do. Just regurgitating what they hear and can't think for themselves. LA was a scapegoat for a dirty sport. Payback for the French wussies not being able to win their own race. And now we are supposed to believe that the sport is clean even though it's been dirty since it's inception and the avg speed at TdF hasn't decreased.
1. everyone else? definitely no 2. dopings used are not damn equal, plus He endorsed Ferrari to to other riders, and developed a doping network, and don't forgot UCI bribery. He can use the best shit out there with any dosage without getting caught. EQUALS? should I also mention the bullying? stop kidding me
The documentary is incomplete they left out a lot of the science.... epo, testosterone, cortisone, modafinil, caffeine, maybe even cocaine... Lance is a cheater and seems to be a bully but to be fair to him, these finishes were pretty close.... do you think the guys who finished the tour de france literally a couple of inches behind him were clean?
I was inspired by this story, but now I have read the USADA 202 page report. I clearly think Lance was doping from 1999-2006. I know what made Lance better, the cocktail of banned substances flowing throw his system to win. The man is a cancer survivor and just blew everybody's dream away by cheating at all odds to win. Lance was everything that was bad about professional cycling. All these documentaries are a huge joke now! He will take a hit in the wallet after 10 sponsors dumped him.
this is all lies . lance trained using epo and blood doping just as did the other members of his team. you dont feel pain if you are on epo . all the bike tech is a sales gimmick dreamed up by trek inc. with out epo he would have has very dismal results .
The best cycling rider of all time
While doping.
***** Many of the other riders were doping really hard too; they just didn't confess it.

Not in the first 40 odd before he became a kunkie and helped give the sport a bad name the no good piece of SHITE😱😱😱
I laughed when he said inject every ounce of his being. I like Lance but that was just funny.
If he only knew 🤔🤔
Did they cut the EPO part???
where can i get that body suit?????
Just for clarification, not all the riders were doping.
"The science and technology behind Lance's seven tour wins"? We don't need an hour-long documentary for that nowadays :)
What a simpleton explanation. Get a grip.
Ya ya big simpleton dosser
1:40 "There is Lance that athelete that posses the raw determination to inject every..." weel we know he injected a lot of things lmao
oh dear...
He was using a motor in his bike. Just a cheater.
6:50 why so serious?
Livestrong is a great service started by him. :)
wondering what happened to that bug
say what you want about doping, and no i 100% dont agree with it, but he is an amazing athlete.
Forgot the most crucial and powerful element of science in cycling in the 90s - EPO
haha i can't agree more the other problem is trying to get back on that old bike the gearing makes it almost impossible where i live with so many hills
Livestrong with Chemistry!
I can imagine what the prolonged effects from these drugs can cause.
2001 tour of switzerland, 1999 too, not sure which race. If you think passing tests between 1999 and 2005 shows your clean, well it doesnt really. in those days the science of drugs was way ahead of the game of testing
The movie title should be "Science of Doping and Cheating - Lance Armstrong"
After 6 long years i can finally say " I told you so"
Cheers To Lemond for fighting this disgrace of a human being.
Our roided up guy beat your roided up guy. Put some respect on his name.
"what is it exactly that makes Lance a champion?" Well we all know the answer to that question now. EPO, HGH, blood transfusions, testosterone etc...
He was using a motor in his bike. Just a cheater.
Especially when everyone else is doing it! That's why it's just assumed that Lance HAD to be doping. Because guys like Ullrich were and they couldn't beat him. the guy at 7:34
is that a dummy or a real person? cause he is really good at not moving
I was just thinking of a writing a post whining about the horribly written intro when at 1:44 they decided to throw in the word 'inject'.
W O W
hell yes! go Lance!
lance is the best cyclist. Whatever you say he is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what state and roads is he on in the last part of thsi vid? what a ride!!
He was the strongest athlete within the peloton.....ON DOPE!
Everyone was AND STILL IS on dope, dumbfuck.
DOPE ,DOPE ,DOPE
what does that bug and Floyd have in common? they both took Lance down
"Science" is that what they call it these days :) I'm off to smoke some "science"

1:30 what about drugs ?
5:21 when did iTunes become part of wind tunnel testing? haha :)
LOL... that's a good one man!!! :)
that fixed gear> what frame is it? is it in production?
should be part 1 of 6
1:30 ?
there is much more behind seen than that all the 'stuff' he took to go faster also.
Yes, "just look at the test results..."
morover, i'm suspicious that ferrari dope him more than other clients..
you put lance on a 24 pound 10 speed steel bike back in the day against Merckx at his prime, and i don't think lance would be the greatest anymore
I heard he was also accused of doping during his comeback to cycling. Wow that man had an awesome plan. @flugtager hahaha, damn man...that was awesome.
Look at Johan Bruynell playing the game. "What we need is more money to bribe UCI for positive tests and EPO. It's Not About The Bike"!
so what are you saying? let the best guys cheat because they would win anyway??
Yes he injected Lance like a pin cushion.
well, to be honest, the viewers want to see extraordinary climbs, attacks etc.. so the public basically set the foundation for doping.
Every moment I'm thinking, "because drugs".
fair enough
Epo only ads 10-12%
Every rider (top rider) was doing it
90+% were doing it
Lance being that much better was hard work
Training
Cadence
Preparation
im in the exact same boat, no pun intended. i rowed in college and now race on the road. although cycling does bring prolonged pain, nothing will compare to the mental strain that a 2k test or race can bring. rowing has got to be the most mentally taxing sport to be competitive at - very little excitement
i bet when he's riding his bike , hes like I NEED MY CRAK , then he starts scrathing himself

I used to believe he didn't cheat because there was no eveidence. But if you actually look now, the evidence that he did cheat is overwhelming.
LeMond should be able to sue for losing his bicycle company after Trek dropped him on pressure from LA!
Легенда велоспорта!!!
Science of SUPPLEMENTING. Grazie, Dr. Ferrari!
You don't want to know...
the secret? massive amounts of epo ...
Pain's valedictorian. Classic.
true don't get me wrong lance is a beast and a half and over all one of the best but from owning both a light weight carbon road bike and a 1982 masi with a 10speed campy groupo, the same merckx road on....i can't imagine the pain they were in back then riding such heavy bikes
lol, 1 gram, one ounce bug can kill you. That bug was soo much smaller than a gram and an ounce.
He trained hard and doped even harder. I was a fan of Lance Armstrong, but now I see him as a drug ringleader and dope Pro.
But they give a clear advantage...
@musicNsoccer haters gonna hate!
so this video is talking about ARMSTRONG IS FATS BECOUSE USE THE BEST BIKES AND SUITS SO HIM IS NOT SO FAST ALONE!???
Well its also about psychological belief that you can overcome problems.
My legend
This beats really nowhere on!! do you really think the other 498 no doping use?? only the last 2 of the tour have nothing used,
That's not true either. Avg speed in TdF hasn't dropped since LA's era...therefore, doping does nothing or they're all still doping. Hmmmmm....www.businessinsider.com/lance-armstrong-doping-tour-de-france-2015-1
hahaha i herd people sayin sumthin like that on the radio..
9:29 even the one gram bug has a rule here.
Before he was a god and now he is a devil. A lot of hipocrisy and a lot of people talk so much without have taken a bike in their lives
Sadly, just shows how naïve people are and how easily they can be manipulated by people/media. No idea what they're talking about yet so sadly think they do. DOPER
Sure. I mean no one was doping other than...www.businessinsider.com/lance-armstrong-doping-tour-de-france-2015-1
Cmon he thought that bug weighed a gram/ounce
HE DIDN'T DO ANY DRUG WHAT SO EVER.
you definly forgot the epo and blood tansfusions hahahaha
1. everyone else? definitely no
2. dopings used are not damn equal, plus He endorsed Ferrari to to other riders, and developed a doping network, and don't forgot UCI bribery. He can use the best shit out there with any dosage without getting caught.
EQUALS? should I also mention the bullying? stop kidding me
kind of reminds me of the drug era in mlb. it sounds like he cheated to win but he alos beat alot of other cheaters too.
I wish i could beat my cancer and win trophies
Or ride a bike
He is amazing!
Hahahahahha, ain't that the truth. Bruyneel is just as guilty IMO, esp when it came to coercing LA's teammates to start doping.
Hey dude, your 7 food elements are: SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM and more.. SPAM
A triple "HURRAH" for one of the greatest sportsmen ever.
Enjoy your pension Lance!
I qualify you in my special category "POSIFICATION".

Lance is a cheater and seems to be a bully but to be fair to him, these finishes were pretty close.... do you think the guys who finished the tour de france literally a couple of inches behind him were clean?
No he was just the most doped up!

LOL - Cyclepath Lance Armstrong !
owned by a bug
*fate
this is all lies . lance trained using epo and blood doping just as did the other members of his team. you dont feel pain if you are on epo . all the bike tech is a sales gimmick dreamed up by trek inc. with out epo he would have has very dismal results .
