When you're a £9m transfer value club coming up against a £35m transfer value club, you need all of your weapons ready. Mo Faal is not yet ready for the 1st team, and Palmer doesn't have the wheels to be the target man who can track back when needed for the press against the team speed that the Blues put on show on Monday. Wrexham also need to have more speed on the wings. After the Blues starved the service from the right wing, I am wondering whether Wrexham need a battlers side for the next time they face the Blues, putting an all-shithouse midfield of Dobbo, Macca and Lee, with Macca toward the right to try to free up Barney, and Seb on the left wing. In a sense, you could say that Wrexham forced a club worth four times as much on the transfer market to change its shape in order to be able to win the game.
Credit to Adrian it appears he understands football. Rousey sadly has fallen into that old trap of thinking previous years of success will instantly mean more success. Wrexham looked a well organised side which they have done all season (seen them a few times). As Adrian said, just came up against a better team and there is no shame in that. Still think you will have a successful season but with a hint of realitiy top 2 aint going to be it. Between 6-12th is where I expect Wrexham to be around which would be a great return to this level.
🤣 rousey here. Not fallen into any trap. It's called having hope for your team. What i was saying is we didn't play our best and it might of been closer had we played our best. I guess we will just have to see at the end of the season where we end up. Ill eat humble pie if we aren't in the mix
@@2beardsmedia Like Adrian said the reason you didn't play at your best is because we didn't allow you too. That's what happens when you play better teams. Like I said I think your be in the mix for playoff race but top 2 I won't lie I don't see you having the quality needed for that. 90+ points needed usually for that sort of area
@jonmerrell2598 appreciate your point of view and thanks for taking the time to comment. 😉 it was a good game regardless. Look forward to facing you guys again
@@2beardsmedia Rousey, Wrexham didn't play their best because Birmingham didn't allow them to. This is the same as the Posh fans who went on about the reason that the Posh did not beat Wrexham 4-1 was because their attacking players had a bad day. They had a bad day because Wrexham's defence took away their opportunities to have a better day. The opportunities on offer against the sides that Wrexham "played better" against just weren't on offer against the Blues for most of the game, and taking advantage of the opportunities on offer WAS "Wrexham playing better". Wrexham had a good game plan, which showed in like minutes 13 and 14 after the early goal ... and the Blues adjusted to counter them. But there wasn't a good Plan B, because Wrexham didn't have the players to implement a good Plan B against Birmingham if Birmingham was able to counter Plan A.
I think if we had played them at the Stok Cae Ras we would've had a genuine chance at beating them. I think by the time they come to Wrexham they will not be as beatable as they would've been on our pitch early in the season unless they have serious injuries to Stansfield or May at that time.

Sorry, I disagree. Mullin did not start that....Cochrane did.
