I think the packaging is so glued because people used to open the previous ones trying to find specific ones so Disney made it harder to just rip into them in store 😅
Yea the one I got was on sale because someone had already damaged the box.
I was going to say, it's likely because the efforts to reduce plastic, (which I support), have meant that in order to preserve the blind bag experience, they've had to go bonkers with the glue. lol

These are pretty cute, and surprisingly not terribly priced, just a note though Jackie, Dragonfruit hardly has a scent so the fact that the scent is really mild on that one might be the reason why, even though I know it's not like true to reality.
A few years ago my daughter got a plushie gift that was very similar to that. It was a dwarf from snow white and it smelled like apple. That thing smelled for years, very faint at the end but still impressive. If they are similar, they might smell for a couple of years too. Very cute.

dragon fruits dont typically have that strong of a smell unless theyre rotting, so pua not having a strong smell makes sense :3

I think it was the veggies collection of munchlings and the mystery was Mushu on celery and I think I got him roughly 3 years ago and he still smells which is so crazy to me 🤯 I think the Munchlings are pretty well made and really fun :)!

Scented or not, I'd buy those plushies just for use as decors on my couch or on my tv area, because I'm a Disney Fan. ^^
The plushies kinda remind me of the emojis from Disney Emoji Blitz, with the characters on different things like crystals, foods or holidays!
Also, KINDA ironic that one wants to smell Pumbaa, when he's infamous for his "Gassiness", if y'all get my drift!
Jackie always does give her honest review. Usually I'm low key yelling at her about the mystery unboxing experience. For instance when the little handbags have plastic bags that ruins her experience. Who cares? Jackie does and of course that's her right to express her opinion on her own channel. However, I must agree that this packaging is very disappointing. You do literally have to destroy the package to get to the surprise. Thanks for another great video Jackie!!! I hope all is well!

I agree her reviews are always interesting cause of her odd, well let's say unique way of rating stuff. I'm often yelling in my head too.
But she's got to find 'problems' where they don't exist or she wouldn't be salty.
Another comment says it’s harder to get into because people were ripping them open in shops so they added more glue. But I agree with the other comment mentioned she could just use an exacto. But she said herself she doesn’t keep cardboard to display anyway which is much better than plastic packaging so I’m not mad at it.

Disney has done a lot of scented munchlings and find that the scents like 75% of the time are amazingly on par with the description and like sometimes they arent
The two I would love to have is Mei Mei and Donald. By 'Scent' I would love the Lavender and the Lemon.
I personally prefer SakuraCo bc you get physical goods in addition to your food!

I love the munchling designs! I have a Jack Skellington cupcake with Zero as the frosting, though it's unscented. But is it wierd to say that I love the villain designs so much more even if they're all cute?
There are also Munchling figurines that are scented as well, I love them! Such unique scents and cute designs! I have the Donald onigri and he smells like garlic, It is super strong and such a shocking scent to give a toy, love it haha
It’s also funny how in these the Bambi one smells great and the mini one Bambi smells super gross
Weird that they went with garlic and not seaweed. At least seaweed would make sense.

The word isn't irreconcilable, it's inconsolable. It means you're basically that you are unable to be consoled or allieved when you are sad or grieving.

The munchlings are really good about the scents. They are also super good about the quality of those plushies.
Btw, dragon fruit has a very faint, soft scent that does smell like a watered down refresher drink. But the fruit itself is pleasantly sweet. So the Pua plush being only lightly scented is true to life.

Nori is the seeweed used on rice balls so it would have a seaweed scent.
But it’s dried so it doesn’t smell of much

key lime is a different fruit than standard lime. It's sweet and has a different taste to it.

a lot of munchlings have a lot of felt on them, they're more for looks than texture type of stuffed animals. I have like 20 different ones and most aren't comfy to hold exactly but those ones usually look amazing
I was hoping you would sniff the unopened boxes to let us know if you could search for a particular plushie that way. It wasn't until somebody else told me that I thought to do that with the scented Squishmallow mystery bags. They have a couple of hole punch holes in the bag, so you can sniff to try and find a plushie with a particular scent.
I love these! Although I do really hate when they use felt on plushies. It's like you want to hug and snuggle the soft material, then you get scratchy felt that.ruins the softness! Squishmallows do this sometimes, too.

I had a friend who would tear open boxes so she could see the cake or item first to see if she wanted one or not. I didn't like going shopping with her but also it kind of made sense to find out if the cake in a box was 90% packaging.
So, this product line holds scent for a long time. We got my daughter a little cupcake one in Disneyworld back in 2022....IT STILL SMELLS LIKE A CUPCAKE to this day.

New to your channel, but loving the content. My girls are obsessed with the Disney Munchlings… however they have the small hard plastic ones that come in blind bags. They’re scented also and extremely scented! They have the same Donald Duck Nori one that is in the plushie. They’re scented also also have a lettuce wrap bambi (both are extremely common finds)…. I will say I cannot stand the smell of those two!!! All the others my girls have gotten I like but I cannot handle those two. But if you want to smell that Donal Duck one try the hard plastic munchlings the 2 pack.
I also have the Pumbaa and it smells AMAZING! It is my sniff stim.

saw someone on youtube went to disneyworld or disney land to get the mint chocolate mickey ice cream sandwich. he said it was horrible cause disney didnt use mint chocolate ice cream they used a cream with mint syrup or flavoring
I have Pumba, Ursula and Donald. Pumba is my favorite of the three I have (smell wise) and Donald is my least favorite. He smells weird.
Edit: I wonder if shaking, fluffing or massaging the plush would enhance the smell. Lots of people can handle sented stuff so that seems like a great compromise.
This is the difference between official Disney products & the one who use their license. Quality. The shoddy products you showed as examples were just from companies using their license, companies whose interest money, not the Disney legacy.
It's like they say no one's going to care about your creations like you do.
