Madam your explanation is awesome.really it helps me a lot.please prepare other modules like NVM,canSm.thanks a lot for uploading wonderful vedios.your English also good that's why we can easily understood.keep it madam
If all nodes in a cluster follows same timing parameter for NM state machine transition then all nodes will be in sync ie all nodes will wakeup and shutdown synchronously
Very Good Presentation! But the video Quality is bit low. Do you have a full HD video ? It would be great if you could provide the Presentation document .i.e PPT
It's not with respect to CAN protocol. In each cluster there will be one master ECU which will trigger the communication. It's input will be some sensor like ignition switch
Nicely explained...I have question : In bus load reduction mechanism. If two or more nodes have same Can Nm msg cycle reduced time how messages will be transmitted.
If Busload reduction mechanism is not needed by the customers or if number of CAN frames in a cluster is less then we can make CanNmBusLoadReductionActive as FALSE
Thanks for the explanation. I have a doubt in Bus load reduction mechanism, For example in cluster of 10 Nodes, only two nodes with smallest CanNMMsgReducedTime will transmit NM frames. Then how remaining 8 nodes will inform others that it needs bus communication without sending the NM frames
NM module acts as adaptation layer between COMM and module specific NM like CANNM... Eg: To shift from Normal operation to Ready sleep NM calls CanNm_networkrelease() API.. Release request is given to NM by COMM module..
1.Repeat message state is needed to inform other nodes that my node has become active.. Ideally if none of the other node sends NM frame within repeat message time then my node will start it's bus sleep action ie it will be shifted to Ready sleep without entering normal operation 2. Atleast for repeat message time node should be active
@@electroniccontrolunit9294 Thank you for the explanation. Madam I have one doubt here. 1. When node becomes active then it should start sending frames. Right? But why that node will go to Ready bus sleep mode? 2. Once node becomes active, what's the responsibility of that node in a cluster? Little confusion.
1. Node will send NM frame until it is in REPEAT MESSAGE state. If a node is low priority in that cluster (eg: infotainment node) then it neednot send NM frame continuously 2. I didn't understand your question
@@Raj73631 I would like to answer this question...example we have one ECU called APA this ECU NM periodicity 1 Sec which mean each and every 1sec it should receive that NM pdu otherwise ECU will go to sleep mode....in repeat message state this will inform to other ECU ..I woke up.... If u want keep wake mode pls send NM message from your side

Very valuable video about autosar , many thanks
Thank you very much for helping us to learn the AUTOSAR module by your presentation......
Welcome
Please do some more videos... ur explanation is good.. and it will helps u as well for more subscribers.
I will try my best
Madam your explanation is awesome.really it helps me a lot.please prepare other modules like NVM,canSm.thanks a lot for uploading wonderful vedios.your English also good that's why we can easily understood.keep it madam
Thank you so much
Very good information and explanation please do series of vedios on automotive like CAPL,CANOE etc if you know, Thank you
Thank you for your comments...
Well explained Ramya. Really very good info to understand CANNM module. Keep it up.
Thank you
Nice 👍. Clearly conveyed.
Thank you
Good explanation
Well explained..do more presentations
Thank you so much...
Very Good explaination! . Please Can you do a video on State machine from NO com to FULL com ?
Thank you for your feedback... Ok I will put state machine from no com to full com..
God Bless You 😄
Thank you so much for preparing wonderful videos on AUTOSAR modules.
Could you give an example how the Nodes will be synchronized with NM frames.?
If all nodes in a cluster follows same timing parameter for NM state machine transition then all nodes will be in sync ie all nodes will wakeup and shutdown synchronously
Very Good Presentation! But the video Quality is bit low. Do you have a full HD video ? It would be great if you could provide the Presentation document .i.e PPT
Thank you for the comment's.. I will check the way to improve video quality
detailed explanation, thanks a lot
Welcome
How to get notification of CAN NM state changes in SWC (application modules)
Thankyou
Thanks!
You spoke about master ecu. But can protocol doesn't have master slave concept. So i am confused. Can you please explain more on this
It's not with respect to CAN protocol. In each cluster there will be one master ECU which will trigger the communication. It's input will be some sensor like ignition switch
Nice work ...Is each NM frame contains PNC info , whether other ECU need to active or sleep?
It is not mandatory that all NM frames has PNC info.. It depends on customer requirements...
Nicely explained...I have question : In bus load reduction mechanism.
If two or more nodes have same Can Nm msg cycle reduced time how messages will be transmitted.
Cannm design is wrong here. Two node can't trigger NM message at same time. Atleast there ll be difference in offset
Hi,
Could you please tell me what happens when CanNmBusLoadReductionActive is FALSE and when will it be set to FALSE?
If Busload reduction mechanism is not needed by the customers or if number of CAN frames in a cluster is less then we can make CanNmBusLoadReductionActive as FALSE
Thanks for the explanation. I have a doubt in Bus load reduction mechanism, For example in cluster of 10 Nodes, only two nodes with smallest CanNMMsgReducedTime will transmit NM frames. Then how remaining 8 nodes will inform others that it needs bus communication without sending the NM frames
For any node to be active it is ok to receive any one NM frame.
Electronic Control Unit Thank you, in that case remaining 8 Nodes will be passive node ?
Other nodes can still transmit application frames
@@electroniccontrolunit9294 Got it Thank you!
@@vengetsekar2674 passive node is means the node will dont transmit the nm frame?
Thank you very much 😊
You're welcome
Hello Ma'am. Can you please tell me what is NM and CanNM? How they are related?

Hello..Madam thank u for uploading the contents...I am having some doubts and would like 2 reach u related to autosar..
Kindly mail to autoecu8@gmail.com
Hello, could you plz upload videos related to Memstack.
Will try
what is meaning synchronization of nodes
All nodes in a cluster should wakeup and shutdown within specific time. Here synchronization means time synchronizing.
PLS..IMPROVE VIDEO QUALITY..
Do you mean pixel??
Hello madam,
Can you please explain more on the usage of "Repeat Message" state.

Customer should take care while designing. No two nodes should ve same time
