I like it when shows depict racism even if it's not the main theme of them, as racism is unavoidable everywhere where there a lot of people, it add realism to the story
I would like to talk about that as well, but Ion really care enough because toi animation team kinda wack imo. They gotten better now, but back then. HOLY the animation was trash so, its a hit or miss for me.
Robin was never supposed to be darker skin the anime team colored her before oda and they decided they couldn’t just change it to what it’s supposed to be so they waited till the time skip
That wasn't an actual thing their colours were made by the anime and was then fixed post timeskip, if you look at any of the colour spreads pre time skip they're clearly white
Hmm. Yeah. Basically racism is often depicted in media to show that it is almost everywhere but that it is seen as a conflict that the characters must face to make changes if possible. Or well, at least showing it to people that racism is often unintentional or intentional to create an uncomfortableness between races and characters.

I think there are lots of interesting things to talk about surrounding race and anime. However, I think this video would have worked better with a script. It would allow you to focus your ideas and cut out the filler. If you're worried about the tone of your video, write jokes! Trust your audience to pick up what you're putting down. You can absolutely make lighthearted, funny videos about this topic, and i think thats a great direction to go in. *Show* your audience the video is not to be taken seriously, don't just tell them. Thanks for the video! We will be watching your career with great interest.
