Nowhere else do you see these kinds of quality installations or upgrades. Most people go the inferior route of having an aftermarket moonroof installed which leaks and doesn't look very professional when installed. I love that he goes to the junkyard and gets a factory Chevrolet unit and installs it with all its original hardware and trim. I can't say enough good things about his mindset and process when upgrading these beautiful classic Caprices.
Man!!! I know this sounds lame !! But who else loves to see SprayWay’s vision come to life in his videos!!! You make it look so easy that I wanna put a sunroof in my C10!! 👀
Great video. Thanks for making another sunroof video explaining it a lil more. You showed exactly the piece I was missing and had to figure out. My skin wasn't perfect and a lil thin on one side. I didn't know how to draw the inner lines for the bracket, so it was inside the cut line. Best method for me was to make cardboard strips for the exact shape of the bracket area. Those strips then became my new template. I appreciate you making these videos.
I don’t like a box Chevy but I do respect the energy you used in this project . You wanted a certain comfort feature and you didn’t just want ...You made it happen! You sir, are an engineer. Hit me up on the suspension design if you like a dunk. I’ve got uniball joints ,hiem joints and all that it takes
Damn ! So good on so many levels! Transition audio is much, much better modulated. Your skills - mechanically are awesome. Attention to detail - spot on! . You know there was that video void- whatever. Thank You !!! Love the step by step BTW!!!!
Watching you is like seeing art being created. Entertaining, educational, relaxing and more awesome than anything on TV. We get to sit there and cheer you on. All the best to you, young brother.
Man, when you went into the roof of the Caprice.. I was like, no turning back now. I like how you took the time to flow the bodywork to hide the transition. Very clean looking job. Its those details that most people wont notice, if not told. That car didnt have that option, back then. As usual, you impress the hell outta me.
Your videos are excellent! You cut the hole in the roof TIGHT and RIGHT! A word to viewers: Don't trust the rear view mirror to be on center - If the mirror's ever fallen off (which they usually do at some point) they aren't necessarily located correctly when re-installed. Use the method SprayWay uses!
I love how you take the time to look for all the details before you make a move in which direction you will take ,keep up the great work. can you make a video of the inside steps for the new install of the interior finish and how you design it for us ,Thank you
Thanks man another good video. I half assed that same kind of job in a 85 F150. Say maybe 9 years ago. I love the fact that videos like this are done. Respect. I swear I'm going to finish my bike this season and ride down to buy you a beer.
SprayWayCustoms another like from a big fan! You showed the ton of work it took to installed the outside pieces of the sun roof but you didn’t show the nightmare it must have been under the roof!! Finding a way to bolt in that frame with motor etc. How the heck did you hold it up in place while you worked?? I have to imagine that was a ton of work!!!!!! I installed dozens of van sun roof and picture windows in the ‘70s but they were all simple cut a hole and pop in jobs, no body work. Nothing as complicated as this. It seems there is no custom job you turn down. I really get a kick out of your patient southern way!!
I tell ya what Sprayway...someone who does metalwork all day might screw with ya ....for your method on sunroof install...but there's always 10 different ways of any type of install...and at the end of day if it looks good and is reliable that's all that matters...well done again..👍🏻
