When Leonard Nimoy asked De Kelley why he thought Star Trek was still so liked today he just said 'Because we were good!' to which Leonard thought 'Yes we were'.
"Captain, do not risk the ship on my account." "Shut up, Spock! We're saving you!" "Why thank you, CAPTAIN McCoy." Spock needs the thug life sunglasses
"I find your argument *strewn* with gaping defects in logic." Spock (Nimoy) was so great at saying essentially the same response in so many ways to always make it fresh and enjoyable.
Two of my favorite McCoy lines are from the episode, "Tomorrow Is Yesterday ". Both take place in sick bay. After Captain Kirk replies to what Bones has said with, "Now you're sounding like Spock", Dr. McCoy hilariously says "If you're gonna get nasty, I'm gonna leave!" Later, in the same scene, Mr. Spock comes into the sick bay, saying that has made an error. Bones' reply: "Oh? This must be an historic occasion!" Two great, humorous throw-away lines, delivered perfectly by DeForest Kelly!!
One thing that the new series of Star Trek can't recreate is the synergy this three had. This can't be recreated no matter how good the actors and the scripts are, this three were natural at what they did.
I just realized what serving on the enterprise must have been like from Spock's perspective - imagine a professor who has to work with a crew of high schoolers :p It's a good thing he's unemotional, because I would probably start beating the crap out of them after a few days! Realistically, he'd be constantly saying correcting the human crew's "poor" decisions!
Spock you haven't changed a bit. You're just as warm and sociable as ever......Nor have you doctor, as your continued predilection towards irrelevancy demonstrates.
That is soo Funny, How Dr McCoy comes in SMILING, Showing he has found the answer, to the dilemma, that plagues them, or the Enterprise, and he's always too LATE!!! By just a few minutes or so.
1 of 8 billion what's co bad about a Most likely plastic skeleton with a cut on its dome? Geez you guys are acting as if its a real skeleton you bone heads why would thay use a real one in a made up action adventure series that was filmed in 1966?
If after two years you still haven't gotten the answer: It's about an episode where they were on a planet where society was all built on Hitler's National Socialist ideology.
hmmm... I wonder where I heard that. Cat's Paw is one of my favorite episodes. I also thought that was third season but I don't have a chart in front of me, I'm sure there's an episode list somewhere on the Internet. A few months ago you could watch all the STOS episodes here, but they seem to be removed now and you have to PAY....
TOS writers knew how to write comedy for McCoy, and Kelley knew exactly how to deliver the lines.
De Kelley had the most beautiful blue eyes in the universe.
And adorable round chuchy face x
Although Mr. Kelleys are nice , sorry but Carrol Oconnor had staggerring BLUE eyes. ( Archie Bunker )
amen to that
That‘s true ❣️
Yeah!!! Wonderful!
When Leonard Nimoy asked De Kelley why he thought Star Trek was still so liked today he just said 'Because we were good!' to which Leonard thought 'Yes we were'.
"Captain, do not risk the ship on my account."
"Shut up, Spock! We're saving you!"
"Why thank you, CAPTAIN McCoy."
Spock needs the thug life sunglasses
I think thats the closest thing to a vulcan joke I've ever heard.
Correction. McCoy needs the thuglife sunglasses.
“Shut up, Spock, we’re rescuing you.”
Best character ever.
pointed eared hobgoblin was always one of my favorites. So many great memories
"I have found that evil usually triumphs, unless good is very very careful" - Leonard McCoy
Spock and Bones are easily the best characters.
The Triad.
Things he is:
-A doctor
Things he isn't:
-An engineer
-A mechanic
-An escalator
-A magician
He's certainly not a bricklayer, either
"I'm a doctor, not an escalator!"
Bailey Provance lol
Bones had enough snark to power the warp engines lol
"I find your argument *strewn* with gaping defects in logic." Spock (Nimoy) was so great at saying essentially the same response in so many ways to always make it fresh and enjoyable.
+T.A. P.
1:58: Well, there goes paradise.
Classic
RememberEddieYork I love Doctor McCoy's lines

I remain grateful for the many hours of entertainment this show gave me during my youth.
Man Spock, McCoy, and Kirk work so great together 😆 the real trio!
0:30 What McCoy is thinking: "How is that skeleton holding together without tendons?"
That nod at 3:24 is the reason I have adore Bones.
One thing that the new series of Star Trek can't recreate is the synergy this three had. This can't be recreated no matter how good the actors and the scripts are, this three were natural at what they did.
You are so right. For years, I was attempting to determine why I found Picard and crew so boring. You explained it in one sentence. Thank you.
"Our Child?" -Kirk
"I'll explain later." -Bones
"That should prove rather interesting." -Spock
Yes it should Spock. Yes it should.
_Friday’s Child_ is one of my favorite eps. Bones is so funny. :-D
Looking at The Deadly Years episode and how old the actors are now, they don't look as nearly as bad as they did in the epsiode.
Kirk: Bones, I know this place. Across town, where... The women-Bones: I know the place. I know the place. Let's go.
Bones and Spock made Star Trek TOS.
I just realized what serving on the enterprise must have been like from Spock's perspective - imagine a professor who has to work with a crew of high schoolers :p

3:33 Love McCoy stringing an increasingly frustrated Kirk along ...
"Spock how does that Vulcan salute work? Wow that hurts more than the uniform "
"I find that evil usually triumphs unless good is very very careful" Such is life today as of 6/5/2023
"Shut up, Spock, we're rescuing you!" is one of my favorite lines in all of Star Trek.
Spock you haven't changed a bit. You're just as warm and sociable as ever......Nor have you doctor, as your continued predilection towards irrelevancy demonstrates.
Loved his hands.
Me too, totally! He chose the role of the surgeon well :-)
I loved Jim's little jump at 5:05 when the woman told Bones to bring "their child."
0:05 must have been a kick for shatner and nimoy to dress up like that considering
That is soo Funny, How Dr McCoy comes in SMILING, Showing he has found the answer, to the dilemma, that plagues them, or the Enterprise, and he's always too LATE!!! By just a few minutes or so.
Lol that baby already has McCoy's scowl
How dare you cut out Bones’ most fabulous eye roll
when he was young DeForrest Kelly looked like Gary Sinise. Or is it the other way around?
I need your advice, Bones; and I need a drink😂😂🍺🍺🍺
10:40 "We quit feeding them, they stop breathing!"
kneel to the logic
It's "yield to the logic".. not "kneel"
9:49 Wouldn't mind this Dr. Pulaski strolling around the 1701-D.
3:22 is suprisingly amusing
R Z 5:33 thats a good one I love Doctor McCoys smile
great job putting this video together
Hey, why cut Bones' line off?
It's "Good luck, Spock. Damn you."
Whaou i love your vidéo. Mc coy and Spock doing Star Trek
Doctor, you are out of line.
So are you... Sir
9:47 doctor Polaski!
Bones looked like a male Ava Gardner just gorgeous
🤩
Great!
10:42 Kirk: now he tells me. LMAO
0:30 - Obvious educational skeleton with obvious surgical cut at the top of the cranium is obvious. :P
Adrian Silea Oh my god, I can't unsee it.
Haydn Anderson what?
Adrian Silea Cinima sins me too

There goes Paradise...M6...Logic =Cul de sac❤️Just lucky...With a lot of will...I could never have been a doctor..I don't have the "Killer Instinct."
6:57 fucking jumpscared me jesus christ
2:54-3:02 😂🤣😆
3:23-3:27
Where Dr. McCoy get this Muscle Man out of my Sick Bay. The Red Security Officer look pissed.
4:50 hes just like me fr
I want to win the Zimagny prize
Great characters on "some" of the ST series.
Although your video's sound could do with a a few tweaks...
Ah, yes; I do not miss the days of Windows Movie Maker...
8:19 - "hanger" deck instead of "hangar?" Really?
"What in blazes is this?!"
bones, DOC
lol
These are just line spoken by McCoy. . .
So many of the great lines are cut in syndication. So sad.
What was that thing about them wearing Nazi uniforms?
If after two years you still haven't gotten the answer: It's about an episode where they were on a planet where society was all built on Hitler's National Socialist ideology.
If Dr. McCoy was Joe Biden:
Damn it Jim, I'm a idiot not a president.
0:31 AHAHAHHAHA
If this is season two then what is Checkov doing in one of the scenes, I had always thought he did not join the series until season 3.
+Alan Rossi He joined the series in season 2. It's only season 1 that doesn't have him. Catspaw was the first episode filmed with him.
hmmm... I wonder where I heard that. Cat's Paw is one of my favorite episodes. I also thought that was third season but I don't have a chart in front of me, I'm sure there's an episode list somewhere on the Internet. Alan Rossi Tragic. The same thing happened to Hogan's Heroes
Thus my love hate relationship with TH-cam
