No , it has nothing to do with temperature cooling. If you wish, you can paint a cooler paint on top of it.

using grey cement will absorb more heat in summer, better would have been white cement with polymer...from my past experiences.
you may be right, white cement withstands heat but cracks. Grey too peals, it has to be maintained regularly, not one time solution.

Please watch my video at the end part, I have clearly shown about watering. Yes you are right, polymer cement is the tiles adhesive cement which is even more powerful than our normal grey cement.

No it's not recommended to use on top of tiles, because it's no use
This solution is at its best on top of roof/wall and not over tiles.
It can applied over terracotta tiles? Some tiles are damaged.

But the geco brand cement alternative that you used doesn't mention external use. Do you think applying externally will not be effective?
it is mentioned has adhesive for tiles and I dont see any notice as 'not for external use'. However I have used it and not seen any leakage so far.

I would not recommend this for water tank leakage, but if walls oozzs then you can use it inner and outer.. For water tank leak, use Adherebonds products, I tried 7 years back and it still holds the leak.

Sir cooling tile is a very bad idea. Water will enter the roof in the gap of two tile area, however you paste the gaps, this is called air crack.. please wait I am coming out with another video which will describe why we should not use cooling tiles or concrete on top of the roof..

Sir, from my practical experience I have seen for 3 yrs now and no problem yet. Also how you paint it is also important, the quantity measure and the drying time and painter skills are all important when you validate life of the product.

Yes you can do that, it will look good... But one thing is that, direct sunlight on terracota will peel the paint slowly, if you can keep repainting once in a yr, you can go for it..

there is no permanent solution with any product, you must maintain it regularly and look for any problem.. however this polymer too withstands 2 years or more in my case, then after that, a little patchy is done every year, it hardly consumes 250 ml thats it.

Sorry sir this system life is not working in long life. Even cracks are forming as it is cement based coating.
Sir thanks for sharing your knowledge. Please note, there is no solution to prevent roof cracks, it will happen for several reasons. All roof solution we are using is to prevent water entering the roof ie, the dhalam. whether it is Dr.proof, Damp proof, rubber proof, tiles on roof etc or anything concern is done to prevent further leakage by covering it with something to separate water and roof contact.
So whenever roof crack widens, we have to repair it and cover it with damp proofs, we cannot STOP roof from cracking unless we learn the right reason. Roof leakage and Roof crack are different.
