Good video. Well done.
Thank you for this!! Not many videos on the Caddys
Thanks, will be doing a few more in future 👍
Nice one ! Thanks
any idea if I had a bad master cylinder would it also cause similar issues as if I had a bad brake light switch?
I guess it’s a possibility but I’ve never seen one fail that way before. It would be worth having an auto electrician look at the wiring first I would say.

Passat b7 1.6 its the same o not ?
This is the same on Seat Leon MKii. Such a pain, easy to replace part but i can't access it.
Replaced the switch and still didn’t fix my brake light from staying on. And car starts without pressing breaks
Sorry this wasn’t your problem. Maybe there is a good auto electrician in the area that can take a look?
Took it to VW…. Wires were damaged needed to be rewired
@@FaithMerino1 ouch sounds expensive. Glad you got it sorted though
@@FaithMerino1 Hello !

@@jojoprieto7400 check all the fuses brother
Same problem. I changed the sensor but the lights are still ON. Did you find where is the fault??
Had no idea, on the 3BG and A4 its inside the car.. Damn this 3C, looked for over an hour😂 Its same on this caddy and my Passat 3C🙈
Hope you manage to get it changed okay and it cures your problem
