Football has a big problem with dominated national leagues.
Yes, Tajikistan's Higher League is the most extreme example, but it's more common than I think folks would like to admit
Meanwhile the Malaysia Super League would be the world's second most one-sided football league in the world because of three words that made the said league extremely boring to watch:
Johor Darul Ta'zim (aka JDT).
And speaking of JDT, they dominated the Malaysian Super League since 2014 to the point that it's not uncommon to see them undefeated for the entire season. Though given the fact that the Malaysia Super League is only comparable to the National League (5th tier in the English football pyramid) in terms of quality, JDT still struggled in the continental football.
Appreciate you dropping that one into these comments, I hadn't heard of it myself but now I feel obliged to look it up and learn more!

It's like the Turkmen dictator feels like missing out seeing Istiklol and decided to have his own club.
I heard of leagues being dominated by 2 teams, like Uruguay where every tournament is won by either Peñarol or Nacional, but this is the first time I heard of a league dominated by a single team.

I am suprised that this video is not about the Bulgarian league, considred we have the same winner (Ludogorets Razgrad) since the 2011-2012 Season to this very day. :D

@@voxathletica yeah sadly most football leagues are like this. Bundesliga was until last year. I’m a Liverpool fan and it’s sad to see that even though we’re the 2nd or 3rd best team in the league our team’s quality and results are more comparable to Ipswich or Southampton then Man City. Money and corruption are destroying football

@@voxathletica by the way, the situation of Istiklol and JDT almost similar. JDT owned by the son of the Johor Sultan. But in Malaysia, for me it is much worse because most of the club had a financial issue not like JDT they have "unlimited" ammount of money...
