The Empress Reverb is beloved by guitar players. synth lovers, and sound designers. Check out this modern masterpiece for yourself at Sweetwater 👉 imp.i114863.net/LPNAqV
Really pro review here. Guy seems very sharp and is a great communicator, doesn’t stutter or pause at all while speaking. Wish my brain worked like that…
the reason i sold my big sky was cuz it was too complicated for me. i’m a noob when it comes to all the mixing and knobs and such. i like simple but good quality. this pedal looks easier than the big sky but i think i’ll stick with a simple reverb pedal & buying a simple delay pedal too
This one isn't bad at all man! I was in the same boat as you. I ended up getting a Timeline and a Reverb. The Strymon is such a headache to use, but the Reverb is so fun and simple. "Hardest" thing is remembering what the thing 1 and thing 2 do on each preset. Even then, it's crazy fun, man.
I went through a reverb journey not long ago. Had this one for a bit and it did not Empress me (get it? see what I did there?). Ended up with the Ventris, best all in one reverb pedal IMO.
I’ve had this pedal for quite a few years now… I’d say it’s just ok nothing special. No preset/menu screen for the price is ridiculous. Also, there’s a lot of remembering to do with effects knobs doing different things for different reverbs.
Hi, slimturnpike! Thanks for your question. The Empress Reverb is MIDI capable and also has onboard storage for up to 35 presets. Please contact us direct with other questions as you have them! Yes! 🙌
So glad you guys have empress now.
I have this pedal! Best reverb pedal I’ve ever had on my rig!
Such a great pedal. I was blown away by the multi-track looper. The midi port can accept a clock input too, for syncing up delays. Amazing pedal.
This is now on my want list. So many useful features...it really is a must-have. Very nice pedal!
Solid pedal, great video, thanks Mitch.
Excellent quality Review Mitch, great stuff.
INCREDIBLE SOUNDING.
Finally empress will be noticed more because of sweetwater, it's sad but true. Either way it's a great thing. Good choice!
That's mostly 'cause folks will check out the demos, but gulp and turn away when they check the price. The best costs a little(or a lot) more.

Smart. Pedals like this tend towards choice paralysis

Been my main verb since 2017.
Mitch is morphing into Wolverine as well speak, great review.
Ace demo. Thought the presenter did a great job.
Wonderful sound!
Love Empress Effects!!!
I have this and love it.
I like less features, seems too complicated, but sounds cool.
Cool pedal
reverb sounds 😊
Whats better the Strymon Big Sky, Death Audio Rooms or this? I cannot decide..
MERIS Mercury X.. thank you..

I have the same feeling now as I did when it came out. It sounds incredible, but it's too expensive
Well done, Mitch! I bet you had to study hard for this video.
I don’t need to hear this pedal to know it’s good
How does it compare to Big Sky? Anyone?
Both the Empress and Big Sky pale in comparison to the Ventris.
I'm first from India
most companies still don't notice that ~1/10 male people suffer from red green weakness 😕
No midi in out...skip
You need an Empress midi box or similar to connect. No need for a midi out port then.
I have no use for midi (who has nowadays?), so no. I won't skip.
But, it does have midi in out though…..
@@wargo6263 you clearly have no idea what you are talking about.
@@kurtj312 acturally it has a midi in at least, the control pedal port can be seted as a midi in port.

Some people don’t like menu diving buddy
@@kylebichler2258 ok buy it & lmk what you think
@@Takeiteasy11 I already have a source audio ventris (no screen btw) and I’m a happy camper.
Go buy a helix bruh
@@kylebichler2258 I never asked what you have but thanks?
@@Takeiteasy11 but you must know that menu screens are not always needed to be a great pedal Yazer. It’s okay I still love you.
nice pedal, but a face only a mother could love.
Bitte weniger REDEN, sondern einfach VORSPIELEN!!! Ich will das Pedal hören, nicht Sie.
Can you create your own presets?
