I got teary eyed as you described the kindness of those folk at the marina. Sometimes I forget there are people like that in my daily grind. Heck, I guess OFTEN I forget that. It was nice to be reminded.
We had the exact same experience at shipment point even down to the car and the hospitality and she even went and got beer for us because I want to beer and the car was being used 20 minutes later she sells up with a six pack of my favorite beer WOW
The cruising community was the best part of our six years of cruising. The kindness of strangers, the friendships formed that will last a lifetime... These are some of the best parts of this life. Oh yeah, and the sunsets...
I've always said- find 100 people from land and 100 people from the cruising community and you will have much more in common with the cruisers. Not everyone is a peach, but as you point out, most are great and interesting people!
I enjoyed your video.. I am located in mullenbay roughly 5 miles north of vt,ny Bridge. NY side.. Currently own a 27 ft cruiser and love to travel the lake. Acquiring a 30ft sailboat soon and expect to explore more of the lake.
You know! Generosity is limited to the law we are forced apon. When helping someone dose not affect our way of living. Everyone want someone responsible for everything.

Chipman Point is my favorite - we stop every year. Glad to see others enjoying its charm :).
One of the last of the old style marinas. We loved it.
Your correct that’s the best marina I’ve been to in thousands of sea miles
You guys have the best attitudes!
Thanks! It's easy when we are on the water!
Thanks for watching
Bill and Lisa,
Can you recommend a way to visit Fort Ticonderoga from a boat? Is there a Marina nearby to put in and a way to travel from there?
Wow, back in the 70's I live in Whitehall, NY.
I doubt it has changed much! Glad you got out!
have u posted this without the music and just the natural sounds?
