I just wanted to take the time to give a VERY HEARTFELT THANK YOU to the Sport RX team! After over 20 years of wearing prescription eyeglasses under my OTG ski goggles, I finally broke down and ordered the prescription lens inserts, after watching your video reviews. This is the BEST decision I ever made! I placed my order in late February, and received my order in about a week's time. Today was my 1st day using them out on the slopes here in the NorthEast and WOW what a difference! They fit perfectly into my new Oakley Flight Deck goggles. So now, not only do I have the benefits of seeing better with the Torch Iridium Prizm lens (thanks to your review) but I was infinitely more comfortable wearing my goggles! No more pressure at my temples and bridge of my nose, NO fogging, just clear, comfortable vision. I highly recommend anyone considering ordering these inserts to DO IT! You won't be sorry! I only wish I had done this purchase YEARS ago...
Hello there! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! Helping people see better while doing the activities that they love is our mission statement. We are so glad that we helped to make a difference in your on-mountain experience. Please let us know how else we can help you out in the future!
Just got my order and placed them in my goggles, WOW! Worth every penny, I can now leave my glasses in the truck and ride comfortably without having my glasses push up against my face. Thank you SportRx
Just wondering if the inserts can be used in swimming goggles too? I would love to actually see things when swimming! All I see are blurs of blue, which are still beautiful :)
Hi there! While SportRx goggle inserts do not work with swimming goggles, we do offer swim & scuba specific Rxable goggles. Should I make sure that my optometrist puts the pupillary distance on the prescription and do you take that into account when making the prescription inserts?
Hey Chris! We do offer prescription motocross goggle inserts that will work for the Smith Squad or Oakley Airbrake MX goggles. Below is a link that you can use to check them out on the website :) www.sportrx.com/prescription-motocross-goggle-insert.html
We fit motocross goggles with our inserts all the time! See the link below for more details... www.sportrx.com/prescription-motocross-goggle-insert.html
Hey guys, so it looks like grabbing the insert with a new pair of goggles adds about $100 to the order. Assuming the goggles last longer than my prescription, at some point I'll want to update the rx lenses inside the insert. In that case, is it just a matter of ordering a whole new insert, or is it possible to order just the Rx lenses and install them into the insert ourselves? Also, is the cost the same if we just order the insert vs ordering the insert to be added on to a goggle order?
So if I were to buy inserts for my giro onset goggles (two pairs already for different lenses), would that insert work with smith 4D mag or smith I/o mag xl goggles? Also, my vision isn’t that bad (I still feel like I can’t see without them but I really feel for people with actually high Rx) but would digital Vision make a big difference for me? -1.25 in both eyes, with mild astigmatism
Are the inserts more likely to fog up than the actual protective lenses on the ski goggles? I've never had an issue with regular non-prescription ski goggles fogging as I'm always on the move and my goggles have a vent between the plastic lenses that allows airflow through to clear moisture out and prevent fogging. I'm just worried that with inserts the airflow wont reach the inserts and I'll be having them fog on me all the time. When it comes to other things (such as airsoft) where I need eye protection I can fog any eye pro coated with any kind of anti fog spray and it's a real issue. I only don't have this issue with ski goggles because of the sheer amount of airflow the goggles get when you're whipping down the side of a mountain. But with the inserts presumably being on the inside of the goggles (I.e. within the seal of the goggles therefore not getting that airflow) I just can't see them staying clear for me. Any thoughts? Thanks.
That is a great question! While it is not a perfect system, it is the best system we have been able to find yet. They are not fog-proof, of course, but with our anti-fog coating, they are very fog-resistance. Also, thanks to the insert design including a large lens makes for more surface area and more surface area means more fog-resistant because there is more to fog up. Then, the inserts sit farther away from your face than a typical pair of glasses, which means farther from the heat/moisture source making for better anti-fogging. Then, considering the insert sits in that venting 'channel' it is able to take advantage of all of that airflow as much as possible. Still, at the end of the day, extreme conditions can break down any system, but we have the best results with our system overall. You can always get more tailored assistance from one of our friendly, knowledgeable opticians at 888-831-5817. We would love to hear from you!
@@sportrxeyewear Thank you for the very informative reply! I've had a look at some more videos since and it looks like a fantastic system. I'll be buying a set of Oakley Line Miner XM goggles with the polycarb and anti fog (of course!) inserts. Thanks again for the help!
Just about! There have been a few goggle designs that we have run into that have not been compatible, but it's pretty rare. We have a number of different models/designs to make sure of that. You can know for sure about a specific goggle model by reaching out to one of our knowledgeable, friendly opticians at 888-831-5817
I am there about getting this and was wondering can you take this out and put it in to a different lens of the same Goggles? And last do you make this for Smith iox turbo fan?
Hello Juan! The insert fits i between the goggle lens and triple layer foam so you can interchange lenses when you are using it. And yes, we do have a custom rx insert to fit the Smith IOX Turbofan! Grab a copy of your rx and contact one of our certified opticians for more information! www.sportrx.com/contact
I've been trying to research these since I'm considering these but I have a quick question. Sometimes during the day of riding, I take my Goggles off or put them on my forehead, which usually fogs up the inside of the goggles and I have to wipe the inside real quick before heading back on the slopes. With these inserts, how would that work? Is it easy to take out the inserts to wipe the inside if this happens? My eye sight isn't terrible so I usually just ride without my prescription but it would be nice to be able to see a little better while riding lol.
Great questions; thank you! It is definitely best to avoid putting the goggles on your heads, but so often there are no other options! The insert is easily removable and can be wiped. You should definitely give the inserts a try! They can be a game changer, for sure.
You got it! We just need you to provide the prescription copy and the PD (pupil distance) to us and we can get you set up with the best Rx system on the market for snow goggles! Don't forget that we have friendly, knowledgeable opticians who would love to help you through the process at 888-831-5817
Hello! The digital surfacing is most noticeable if you have a higher rx strength and if you have an astigmatism. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your standard single vision insert we can always help you exchange it for a digital version. Please let us know if you have any additional questions! (www.sportrx.com/contact)

Felipe Guajardo those are custom job! Thanks for noticing. We can get you set up with a pair. Here is the recipe: Rose 1 gradient on a transition xtra active gray with our bluedefence AR coating. Call and speak to any optician and give them the above formula. Peace!

I need one for safety goggles. Will buy a pair.
