Loving this series. 💜 I always love hearing why folks love particular decks, or were drawn to them. I also like discovering overlaps with others in terms of what we like -- though inevitably since we're all different humans, anytime I watch one of these kinds of videos it's always a mix of "oh wow, we really like some of the same things!" and "oh wow, we have pretty different tastes actually." I always find this fun. Toiling Hands has been on my list a few times - there is a lot that appeals to me about it.
I get what you mean! It’s the same with books, it’s always interesting seeing favourites because I will love some and hate others and wonder how that works. It’s fun seeing how people tastes collide in different ways.
A feast of beauty for my eyes!!! So many lovely decks here, so happy youre sharing your collection with us! Your mini collection of Tarot Collectibles is soooo cool!!! That Dinosaur Marseille is EVERYTHING!! Love the raincoast tarot but it totally see what you mean. I wish all the cards were crazy trippy maximalist like some of them are!!!
this was such a cozy video! I always enjoy seeing the sparkly and shiny decks that you show on your channel because they're so fun & I feel like I don't see them around very often. thanks for sharing your collection :D
I completely agree with you about the Rain Coast tarot. It has some of my favorite artwork of all of my decks, but as you said, some of the cards are so confusing, because the creator obviously had an intention of putting in all the different symbols and imagery and upside down landscapes, but you don’t know why he did that. But regardless, I have decided to keep this deck and work with it. Because I love the art too much to get rid of it. Thank you for another great video!
Hi I'm going through my decks as well & I'd like to say I just came upon this indie deck I purchased last year : Aging Beautifully by Margaret Manning. It's Beautiful & very well made. Great images & Great description on the other side of the card. Telling you, VERY WELL DONE. I do recommend it.
The Terra volatile is also my favorite deck! I’ve got the base deck and massive guide book and am waiting on my preorder of the expansion pack ❤ I think you would like The Pulp Tarot by Todd Alcott if you haven’t heard of that one. I feel like the art style might be up your alley!
Grrl. The Woven Path is sooo good. It's everything I wish 78 Tarot decks would be. I feel the same overwhelm with Toiling Hands. I love it but it's a lot. I like that some of the cards in Raincoast are less chaotic. If they weren't it would be total overwhelm for me. What a great collection. Thanks for sharing with us.
Filmed a little playing with pairs for next week with the woven path to encourage me to show it some love! I think the toiling hands might be a single card pull kind of deck, maybe tarot-oracle hybrid with the title phrases… thanks for watching 💖
I’ve had this on my list and want it so bad, lol. Was trying to find reasons to not purchase it but I can’t. Trying to behave is really testing my resolve.
You will LOVE the Oliver Hibert Tarot. It's a uniquely psychedelic/sci-fi/trippy/bright neon/playful-but-dark mashup, but I never see it featured in any collections! After watching you gush over your first category of decks, I feel like you're going to die when you see it if it's not already on your radar. It's very loyal to the RWS, but it's not a straight up clone like all the other trippy/psychedelic decks. It's one of my favorites. It's still for sale directly from the artist, and it's been on sale for at least 8 years which is crazy to me because it has major OOP vibes. He's done a lot of art for the Flaming Lips!
I love the Ravens Dream Tarot. The readings are so great! I love her stuff so much. I have the Indie versions of all her Mass market decks except the Crow Tarot and the dog one. I have the mass market version of the Crow tarot. There are only 3 decks of hers I dont have. And Ive decided that I need to get those. LOL. I actually dont think she is planning to take any more decks mass market. She did not have the best experience with hay house and on her site it sounds like she is only doing self published decks now. I’m eagerly awaiting the liminal forest oracle and her Leonormand which I preordered.
Ooh enjoy your new decks when they arrive! I didn't preorder but I'm keeping my eye out for future print runs. I saw some of the difficulties she had so it makes sense if she's sticking to self-publishing from now on
Agree re Aphrodite tarot I was sold based on one card and she changed it in the second edition so it is a pass for me! I feel like the first edition was consistent and the second had art choices that just didn’t fit at all with the overall vibe
@@TarotMagpie yah!! I’m annoyed lol creators keep listening to a small group of very vocal people and making changes that are not what is needed in this case the only change that needed to happen imo is slightly smaller borders and the fact the second edition came out on the back of the first is also annoying!!! But the cards don’t seem cohesive to me now so it’s just a pass! First edition was fine!!! Too bad it’s not available and didn’t get its proper time
@@RoseHoneyRitual I could have done with *slightly* smaller borders but everything else was great! The images did not need sharpening and brightening imo, the slightly soft and fuzzy and aged appearance was part of the appeal for me. Hopefully some first editions will pop up second hand at some point 🤞🏻
Appreciate this and you’re great showing the cards and being authentic about it all. 🧚🏻🛼☕️ (I have their moon power deck and it’s been my main go to. Want their other decks too . Lol)
These videos are dangerous to my willpower and wallet. The deckgasm is real. My version of a wonderland, lol.
I know the feeling, I saw a lot of collection videos over the new year and my wishlist has grown several sizes
You have the most beautiful tarot collection that I saw in TH-cam, you have great taste, plz keep sharing with us any thing you buy
Thank you so much 🥰

It’s the kind of deck I find harder to read with in a traditional tarot way, but I can happily get lost in the imagery!
This was such a treat! Thank you for taking the time to film these delicious videos

Loved seeing all your indie decks! They are all so lovely, I still really want to get the Dream Visions tarot and the Jupiter Power Tarot
Both really beautiful decks! 💖
I like all of them but raven dream tarot and mars power tarot decks were my favourite! They are so beautiful in their own way
Beautiful collection! Love your tarot collectibles!
Thank you 🥰💖
OMG! You have beautiful decks.. I live in Turkey and making a small collection but after watching your video I thought that I was in trouble, lol :))
Hehe sorry not sorry 😅

@@TarotMagpie I clearly just found your channel and marathoned a lot of your videos, so thank you for humoring me! You have such a lovely collection!

Just an FYI that the video chapters are quite wrong. Great video! ❤

I don’t normally like the traditional rws but the spring version is so fun
It’s too cute 🥰
