I have this deck and I like it a lot. When I received it, I asked during the deck interview : what are you not good at ? I got the Magician. I then noticed that there is an error on this card : the Sword is associated with fire and the Wand is associated with air (I know some decks sometimes flip the elements for those two suits, but it's not the case for this one). So I laughed because the deck was obviously showing me one of its flaws, but then I also realised I should not work with it expecting the traditional elemental or even astrological associations. That's not what it's "good" at, and I don't mean that in a bad way, that's just not the way it was conceived (I guess). For instance, we get the sea on the Empress card, the Ace of Wands that looks and feels very airy, planet Jupiter that we see on the Six of Pentacles and the Orcale/ Queen of Wands has nothing to do with those cards traditionally... However, it does bring other associations which I think are very intentional and very well thought at. Each plant, each animal has a very specific meaning in the context of each card : the orange flowers on the Tower card are marigolds, which are linked to strength, power, overcoming difficulties, and you then find those flowers on other cards (Strength, Oracle/ Queen of Wands, 7 of Wands...), just to give an exemple. The Apprentice/ Page of Wands as a sea slug makes perfect sense when you explore a little bit about that animal. As you said : those associations are not discussed at all in the guidebook, and I thought it was a shame, but I enjoy having to find my own way through them and build more personal connections with the cards. In that sense, I think it can be a pretty deep deck. The skies are beautiful and are also full of meaning, the fact that you get drawings (as the main message) and photographic elements (clarifying the context, for instance on the Queen/ Oracle of Swords, the humingbird is the main character, the butterflies bring the context). All the mushrooms are different and I think bring different meanings as well. I hope it makes sense ! If anything sounds weird : English is not my first langage, sorry about that !! Thank you for this video, it was very very enjoyable, as always ! 💜🙏💜
I got this deck because of the playlist, crystals and scents in the guidebook originally, but I honestly haven't yet read it 🤣. It is such a sleeper! SO MANY CLIENTS choose this deck for their readings. I think I've used it probably 15 times with clients and it reads great. The art is cute but not particularly my aesthetic and the cards are really large, but the readings have been really powerful. I agree it has an indie vibe and the cardstock is lovely. I LOVE how you do your reviews. :)
I wonder if you might have an opinion or advice when it comes to an "animal tarot"... I'm contemplating between Guardian of the night tarot, Spirit animal tarot and ELTYDIM tarot shown on your video, and I believe you have all three decks. How do you feel they differ from each other? Do they have different energies? Thanks again for a great video. I love to see deck pairings, since it's not always the most obvious ones that become the power couples.
The Guardian of the Night is great! Another great Animal Tarots are Leeza Robertson’s Animal Tarot AND Soul Cats. Soul Cats illustrator is the same as the Three Trees Tarot decks. Very gorgeous. I bought it by accident and don’t regret it. Those indie decks are great, but hella expensive and come from England which adds more expense on them. Soul Cats is mass market, but have the same vibes as those it’s more affordable to start mass market until you know what you like.
I love this question! I haven’t had the ELTYDIM long enough yet to say, but both Guardian of the Night and Spirit Animal are lovely, and neither are as blunt as some decks can be. I think spirit animal is more gentle, and Guardian of the night can probe a bit more deeply. Both guidebooks have an overall positive tone to them. Hope this helps ☺️
I have to admit that I paid “Every Little You Do…” deck no mind at first. However, I don’t recall where I saw it, but I was pleasantly surprised by the color scheme and collage style! Really cool little book, too. Thanks for sharing!
I’d only seen the box art before it was released and wrote it off as generic ‘girl boss manifest’ type deck lol but it’s actually got a lot more to it!
Wow, loving this deck! You're right, it does feel indie. Going straight on the ol wishlist haha
loving this sort of real-time review with the yes, no, maybe piles. and you better believe I just bought this deck, haha!
I love watching this kind of review, I want to hear opinions lol. Can’t wait to hear what you think of the deck!
Deck has been added to my wishlist 😂🫣

Okay I may have judge a book by its cover on this one, but you convinced me to check it out!
Curious to see what you think!
2:08 Those look like they are keywords associated with the crystal, based on my crystal knowledge.
14:45 The Guardians of the Night Tarot indeed also has a raccoon as the magician 😊 This one looks more like a magic trick fella though
Yes you’re right! Maybe that was locked somewhere in my brain, and was why I thought they’d go so well together

Wow, that looks very very interesting. I like the guidebook. The JK Tarot is G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S!
I’m so happy I was able to snag one!
