Great picks. For goth, check out Sisters of Mercy "First and Last and Always", Christian Death "Catastrophe Ballet" or "Only Theater of Pain", Nox Novacula -all their stuff is newer and really good.
A few suggestions for 2025. 1) Pere Ubu 2) T.S.O.L 3) The Plasmatics 4) Lords of the New Church 5) Wayne County and the Electric Chairs 6) Suicide 7) Cryptic Slaughter 8) Wretched (Italy) 9) Pentagram 10) Witchfinder General
That’s a damn good list you came up with! I was thinking. Have you ever heard of Amebix? They were very much influenced by bands like Killing Joke and Bauhaus, with a touch of Motörhead grit and Crass aesthetics. I think you might like their album Arise! from 1985.
You’re very welcome! : ) They were pretty much the band that created Crust Punk. They have a lot of Metal in their sound and forgo the more typical anarchism of the Crass type bands that they were associated with earlier on in favor of a more apocalyptic and somewhat mythical vibe.
Sweet list.......I always wondered if the punk crowd celebrated the holidays!
I love the holidays just because it’s when I get to spend a bunch of time with all my family.

Thanks! I’ve listened to Only Theatre of Pain a while back and did enjoy some songs. I need to go back and revisit it

Thank you! The name sounds familiar but I’ve never listened.

Excellent choice of albums, when The Ramones, Samhain, Danzig, and The Wipers are on your list ,you can't go wrong.
Haha thank you!
@thatmediocreguitarist your welcome.
@thatmediocreguitarist The wipers! from Portland Oregon. Also check out "the kings of punk" Poison Idea. Also, from PDX.
@@briandoornink7597 I listened to a bit of Poison Idea a couple months ago but kinda forgot about them. What are your favorite songs/albums?
Hadn’t see much from you lately, hope you have a wonderful christmas, keep up the good work 🙂
Great Albums !!!
Keep it up!!!
Appreciate it!
You should check out Mercyful Fate, if you haven't already
Did you get a ticket to Danzig? He announced some west coast shows.
No, I didn’t even know more shows were announced! Maybe I can try to convince my parents to let me go 😅
This is actually a really good idea, if you didn't hear enough new albums, just discuss albums that are new to you 😀 anyway cool list
Thanks! Yeah I needed something to talk about haha
If you had to choose between Group Sex and My War which one would you choose?
My war is Black Flag. All the LA punks hated the change in sound. Everyone I know in the PNW loved it.
Oooh….thats tough. Honestly it would depend on what mood I’m in 😅 right now I’d probably go with Group Sex though
@thatmediocreguitarist Oh come on. The answer is Can't Decide, lol
@@WarChild-g1raww nooo! Can’t believe I missed the opportunity to say that
@@WarChild-g1r I was also gonna say can't decide.
Your lil voice haha legend.
I swear to god, I will forever sound like a 12 year old.
