I like how even pros struggle with Ark's UI. I appreciate that this video shows all the little wonky snaps and mistakes. Shows the true particular quirkiness of the game.
Kudos for working with constantly shifting snap points, platform saddles are so tricky! I really like this design-not too big and not too small, definitely practical for a survival environment. All of the detailing and decorating looks great, too. You’re making this Xbox girl really want S+ though, lol.
You wouldn’t believe me if I told you how many minutes worth of video I cut from this build that was just trying to get the snap points correct. You’re totally right though. This build gave me a run for my money. Especially with the Bronto constantly swaying-or pooping. And I know, I’m sorry! I wish that they would implement all of the building pieces from s+ onto consoles so that everyone could enjoy it. Also, thank you! 😁
ThatGirlDamian Oh, I can believe that a metric ton of footage was cut from this video, haha. Every time the Bronto pooped, I held my breath on your behalf! Quite a challenge, but the build came out really sharp. 👍🏻

I like everything except that you built fondations of the wood and the upper elements of the stone. I would do the opposite. But your creativity is the Ark finest. This is what Ark should be. 🙏
Few things here the stair case how'd you get it like that mine spirals all the way around and second the 2 stone pillars in the front do not go into the right postions
Thank you! It was built with normal settings on singleplayer as far as the platform structure limit goes. But, I do have clipping off. That may effect how I’ve placed foundations under ceiling prices but other than that it should work. I am not 100% positive though!
The mirrored staircases can’t be replicated without s+. Only one spiral can be placed going the same directions I have them going. But if you swap walls, you can still use spirals, just the entrance will be different on one side. Hope I explained that so that it made sense!

I REALLY like this house but did you make this in creative mode? I only ask because at some point it told me there is to much on this platform already and wont allow me to even add walls after finishing the floor now. I am not sure how to fix this but I am stuck now with a huge floor and no walls. =(

@@Kisrra I figured it out. 🙂 I went to my server and just had to increase the allowed structures allowed in the platform. I will say you are SOOOOO much better at it than me though. I am also confused how you did that nice skirting because when I used square wooden foundation I just get 4 wooden legs with a platform and no nice log sides lol. I’m happy you provided this video though and you did give me inspiration and mine looks ooooookay. Lol 😂
You need to disable structure placement collision so that you can overlap structures into other objects/creatures. It’s a setting right on the main menu while you’re choosing a map
Jtracy1698 hmm.. I honestly have no idea why it wouldn’t let you place that there. Is it just saying invalid placement? You could try using a ceiling instead to see if perhaps that will work.

I like to see you get other items in for a mobile base and not just for looks. Industrial stuff and living area for yourself. Fridges and smith ect.
Me and my brother are doing a nomadic run through is why I'd like to see it btw yours build is great. Just want to see how youd do it. (Ideas)

I can't seem to snap foundations below the ceiling like you did for saddle platform. it worked on rift tbh.
How do you snap the pillars to corners? I can’t get them in that position.
Place fence foundations along the edge of the foundation where you want it to snap 😊

I raised it in server settings! believe it's the structure platform #. it's been awhile since i've logged onto ark so I may not have gotten the name exactly correct
