After being part of the top 5 finalists of the amateur singing contest, Tawag Ng Tanghalan (TNT) Kids 2017, they were asked to randomly sing 'Listen' in a comedy talk show (the champion was sick so he just sat there). This video from 2 years ago went viral which started the trio TNT Boys:

They got invited to the Little Big Shots PH, US (Listen and Queen's Somebody to Love), UK (Listen 👌), and AUS (Listen).
Also, they became part of an impersonation show called Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids 2018. Their first impersonation was as Bee Gees and the last was as Jessie J-Ariana Grande-Nicki Minaj (and they won the season). In between they became The Supremes, Wonder Girls, Destiny's Child, The Three Tenors, Lady Marmalade (Cristina, Mya, Pink), and as other Filipino artists.
They also have lots of videos on TNT Versions YT channel. Their latest was the official MV of their first single Together We Fly.
After the World's Best, they did a few shows in North America early this year just before everyone started hitting puberty.
They were younger in this video. Keifer (long hair) is now 15, Mackie (tallest) is now 14, and Francis (chubby) is now 13. Their voices are transitioning at the moment but they are still actively singing and guided by their vocal coaches.

They are all from a Singing Contest titled “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” Kids Edition (why they are called TNT Boys) formed after their season. Actually these boys were in the Top 5 on the contest, though the winner isn’t a part of the group. Amazing kid too. Tawag Ng Tanghalan is an ongoing program w/ several seasons already..

I also felt the chills exactly when I hear keifer sings along with mackie on the first part of the song. And just like you I was really stunned of how someone can sing and whistle effortlessly with a smile on his face. Music is predominant in the culture. I remember growing up, literally every class from elementary to college, atleast one guy has a guitar and between classes some students would take turns performing. It's a form of bonding/entertainment to pass the time. I think you can still see random videos of filipino kids in classrooms breaking into a song mid class. And most househould owns a magic sing(portable karaoke)

They are originally competitors in a singing competition called TNT (Tawag ng Tanghalan) and after that they were formed as a group, that is why they are called "TNT Boys" or boys from TNT.

If you want to see how they became trio - watch them at GGV, click TNTboys singing Listen at GGV : TNT stands for Tawag Ng Tanghalan - it is a variety show and one of the activities is singing competition. These 3 boys were among the top 5 finalist : 2nd 3rd and 5th. These 5 finalists were invited in GGV show (the host, Vice Ganda is the same host in the TNT show) Vice Ganda interviewed them if they wanted to become actors and they all said yes, to test their ability, Vice Ganda asked them to act in a form of singing and the song choice is *LISTEN* in a higher note, the grand champion did not join in the battle because he had soar throat and the other winner(gilr) did not join too. So Vice Ganda told them the scenario: school bullying: Francis - the one bullying, Kiefer is the one being bullied and Mackie is the defender - I am giving you this so that you can understand the conversation because there is no Eng Sub. That video went viral and that is how they started as TRIO.
