Long time no see! I wanted to share with you a short video of a snowy day I had a while ago set to a poem I wrote. Ultimately, this is a creative space for me so I hope you enjoy this small project, which is certainly a reflection of the kind of creative work I have been doing lately.

In the valley the snow sticks just
A bit longer than on top of the hill,
like the end of a rope is the last to burn
Into slow descent like my midday bailey’s and coffee
Trickling down my throat
I don't smoke but if I did it’d be
hard to discard of
The butt, the last to be loved,
The blank end of a record that plays no sound
But invites you to flip it over and accept
no endings
Only interludes,
Ice is brittle but holds my weight
The grass is shielded, frozen
into little sabers
That could pierce through my shoes
Except they don't, and the trees watch in my delight
of the little shards crumbling
underfoot like my paranoia:
I could fall through! but winter is
Chaste and far too precarious in its balance
To give a damn about me
I’m frigid, solid,
Ready to thaw my security
And feel the earth and dangerous feelings
beneath me and blaze
my way into spring
My body is a house of ice,
And I’m standing outside the door, hiding from rain
But the sky is empty and warm,
just atmosphere
There's a girl named April
And she’s waiting inside for me to pluck up the nerve
So I’ll just go along before I get
Precipitated on.
