- Today we're going to update you on the 1956 Dodge Flat Fender Power Wagon. Since the last video we've changed out the original split rim wheels to once welded 17" wheels, which open the door to a variety of tire combinations. I ended up using Cooper Discover Tires, which are by far the best riding tires I've had on this truck. After the update, Paula and I drive to Lothian Maryland to a local farm where some of the Antique Tractor Club members get together at the Baldwin Farm for some great music, food and fun.

Awesome ol' truck, it is so nice, looks showroom fresh. That would make anyone proud.
Thanks 👍
Just got off the phone with and old co-worker in Mesa, AZ and we discussed his old power wagon that he drove when we worked in Mojave, CA. His was a 1958 and every time I see yours it reminds me of him.
Thank you. It's a real work truck!
Glove box holds a whole cake! I’m in 😂
Yes! Paula's famous brownies! Good catch. Thanks for watching. Wayne
What a beautiful truck. You’ve done a fantastic job!
Thank you very much!
I’m restoring a 1965 wm300, I think it has the larger 251 engine, anyway they are awesome trucks, yours is beautiful by the way. Mine was originally orange, so I will be painting it candy orange. Thanks for sharing!!
Dave, Awesome. Our truck was Orange when new also! We just wanted something a bit toned down!!!!
Yes, the 251 was used in the newer trucks. Way more HP. (yea....)
Good luck.

Wayne, I don't think that truck could get any better looking if you tried, that's as near perfect as you can get👍-Andy

Thanks 👍
Beautiful truck.
I love it!
hi there love that truck ,john
Thanks John! I Need a jeep!
Take care.
Nice truck- thanks. Did your truck come std. with power steering? I have a 46 that was restored when I bought it. I have added power steering power brakes a five speed synchronized transmission & hubs. Keep up the good work. And good luck.
Ron, it did not come with power steering. But, in 56 they changed to a 12 volt system and a synchro transmission, and it came with them. Thanks for watching! Wayne
@@WaynesWorldGarage Wayne, thanks for your response, the 56 would have saved me some work- I converted my truck to 12 volt & the remote brake fluid filler tank also. Take care.
Who did the wheels? Been looking at my options ( Which are very very limited) And wondering if the maker would sell just the centers to fit Hummer rim barrels for duel bead locks!
Ric Tudor from Texas. But... he doesn't do them anymore. He took old PW wheels, cut the centers out, and welded outside rims to them.
