We managed to get it inside just in time before the rain came down! 🏗🌧 Meet our DMG MORI NLX 2500|700, an automated Y-axis CNC lathe. This will be part of our new CNC manufacturing capability going forward, able to do most of our prototyping work as well as take on local manufacturing jobs.

I work on four of these machines now in my new job and I have to say they are great machines, very rigid. But the the only negative is the control, CELOS is not real intuitive IMO for a conversational control. It is great for CAD/CAM integration but the Siemens ShopTurn control option for this machine would be the ultimate package if you wanted a machine mainly for conversational programming.

Nice. They are great lathes. We have 4 now, 3 of which have gantry loaders.
