Mission 8: Saving Private Smith
Difficulty: Very Hard
Importance of stripping the soldiers:
Shooting at the stripped soldiers will not deduct the stars from 'neutralized enemies without killing / shooting', while shooting the unstripped soldiers presented at the beginning of the mission will. - เกม
Make it look so easy. I've been playing this game for 17 years.
How come they don't detect you after that radio?
@baioken I got the mines at time 15:16. They are anti-tank mines. I did not use the anti-personal mines because they potentially deduct the stars for 'neutralize enemy without killing'.
I just use the mine detector to DETECT and DEACTIVATE the mines.
How can you adjust the "aim" coloured in yellow of your fellow soldiers once they look out of the windows ? And how once they don't - without issuing them a "move order" ? I reinstalled this game recently but I forgot the way you can control Smith' s soldiers and make them point the aim in the right way I want to... So I still lose this mission... And how can you setup the wider "eagle view" sight in order to see the full approaching army of the Germans ?
@estucampeon The detector is found on the 'soldier without any weapons' in the sapper's room.
The only bomb is found in a locked box at the next side of the bridge. See 12:25
In white flag mode the allied soldiers wont kill anyone even if the enemy shoot at him. The reason he is switching that is, to make sure the allied soldier doesn't kill anyone until he finish the mission so that it wont affect his "neutralizing enemies without shooting". Once he is done with the mission. you can shoot anyone in the bonus mission. Hence he switched them back to red. This time he wants to kill all the enemies not just neutralizing them.
Question about Sniper killing: How many enemies You can snipe before the game starts degrading the 'Enemies Eliminated without Shooting'?
@baioken Ya it's designed to allow you to kill frenzily. It's impossible in the other missions otherwise you loose many stars...
please tell me how you change the allied soldier,s shooting direction i tried like you to change shooting direction but the shooting direction did not change
I knocked down the invasion, but the men I killed when stopping it deduct my stars from enemies eliminated w/o killing, how come?

The invasion part is the bonus mission. If you don't get all the bonuses, the mission ends when you tell Smith to call HQ.
Concerning letting the allied soldiers not shoot, this is actually not necessary. Although I do have to say that I silently pacified ALL the Germans BEFORE starting the bonus mission with the tanks. I just let everyone shoot at the Germans and I still got 5 stars for everything (except for mission time).

It does not give me the medal, it is not in my medal box
I can't activate the invasion(can't click the activation button)

+phlupple yeah you just need to snatch their uniforms(enemies)

+Sai Chand For me it was just that two enemies were still alive in the attic of the building where the Green Beret was held. Once I killed them the button became clickable.

actually u can either kill everyone or undress them after punching(on doing this u can get 5 stars)
the green beret his name is tiny in my game
if you kill/disable all enemy the mission will end after smith get on the radio

In the house where Green bert is found in the beginning downstrairs there is a soldier without any weapons In a separate room who has 1
Or there is one found underwater, not sure though, (close to the plane underwater)

Why do you click the little red/white flag on Allied soldiers?
To start cover mode of allies infantry and allied sapper
How can you adjust allied forces field of vision?
press and hold ctrl button with right mouse button to change the directions (defend window [W] or outdoor)

I can't stend. In my game if i killed the nazis account like if i had to killed using guns and killing, so i don't gain none star. And this after the war. '-'
