The original line has a check valve to keep the oil from draining back out of the cooler into the transmission. Two purposes for the check valve it slows the oil circulation down so it can cool properly as it goes through the cooler. Number two without the check valve the oil drains into the transmission and when you start the truck you hesitate to fill the cooler back up so it shifts properly. Without the check valve and overfills the transmission when the cooler drains back and the very top wiring harness in the transmission usually leaks fluid onto the floor.

Wow the timing of this video, couldn’t have been any better! I was just looking at this kit on your website earlier today! My trans lines have been leaking!

The hardest part about the installation is not spilling any transmission fluid lol. very easy and simple installation besides that.

Love the content and the trash talking from the wire fire gang to the mechanical mafia. Looking forward to the rebuttal from Will and Todd. Seems like both their daily trucks are wire fire now.

Is there a kit if you have deleted the heat exchanger?

Where do I get push locks that’ll work on the stock trans cooler? I have lines just shoved on the end with double hose clamps, had to use hydraulic lines off the heat exchanger on the block then connect push locks to those. This kit would’ve been nice to have 2 years ago.

Look like I’m ordering a kit for my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 diesel(5.9) cause I just had a universal joint break and then my driveshaft screw up my trans lines. New Sub here!

Will this fix the leak I have coming from the two lines going to the inter cooler, two lines are on the driver side, I mistaken the leak for a steering box issue replaced that and it still leaks

Brother I just did the same thing, "good" excuse to get a red head which is FKIN AMAZING, but yeah, went to go clean everything up with the inner fender out and found the return to trans line puking from the air cooler.
