It’s interesting that Aaron Taylor-Johnson was in one of the worst movies of 2024 (Kraven) and one of the best movies of 2024 ((Nosferatu) within just a week in a half of each other.
Honestly fair. I do think Bill at least did a good job in it. Some of it was good but I'd say if you do ever end up checking it out. Just watch the last 30 minutes. Lol that is the best part. That should have been the whole movie or at least the main through line for the movie.
I liked Madame Web. It could have been made without any references to Spider-man. Ezekiel was an interesting character in the comics. He was made a villain in Madame Web. That made no sense to me!
Fun fact: my local cinema lets audience members be guests on a podcast to discuss movies. I got Kraven. So, I spent the whole day refreshing myself on proper Kraven and Spider-Man lore, so I could clearly explain how badly the movie screwed up. But then 2 minutes before recording, I was told I can't be negative! If the cinema were associated with bad press of a studio movie, that studio would not only withhold future releases, they would try to influence other studios to do the same. I had to bend over backwards to conjure some non-negative thoughts that could be spun into a positive due to technicality. Anyway, Borderlands being awful didn't surprise me. Perhaps unfair because I haven't seen all of his movies, but Eli Roth's movies have always been wretched to me. However, he can do decent gore, so I thought at least the violent aspect from the games would be present. Alas, PG-13, so literally the only thing Roth could do, he couldn't do, therefore leaving a mediocre snoozefest that was beneath a fanfilm level.
There were so many terrible movies that came out this year that I'd say are even worse than borderlands, it's just that everyone expected them to be shit so no one was disappointed when they were. Mostly horror films like Tarot, Sting, or Bloodline Killer, but also plenty of generic dross like Dear Santa.
This was a great video to watch. I thought Amanda was professional in not trashing the actress in the Amy Winehouse biopic. When Amanda reviews Kraven, I have a question for the review. Is Marvel using good looking men to attract a female audience to movies that females are not ordinarily interested in?
Thank You, brave Amanda for taking the punch for us. Because of you, I didn't see any of the stinky pile of films you reviewed. Where's the air fresher? Talking about books would be very exciting.
I don't really have a worst movies list. I only go to see what I really can't miss. Plus 2024 was just shitty for me and not looking up. I couldn't get out to see what I wanted to never mind stuff I only kinda wanted to see.
Oh I saw two other movies I would put before Venom 3 for worst. But it made my extended cut. At least Venom was fun at times and had some good monster designs with the xenophages. Lol but that's just my opinion. Lol I am glad you enjoyed Back to Black though, even if I did not. What did you love most about it? :) Also I actually do have a video on my channel where I talk about my best films for the year, if you wanted to check it out. Thanks for watching and for the comment. :)
Borderlands flopped because Randy Pitchford who owns 2k games asked Eli Roth to hire as many big name actors as he can since he was obsessed with movies, fame, and actors
Megalopolis was my worst of the year- Obviously Francis Ford Coppola has made some iconic films and now he has made an iconically bad one. Inconsistent acting, visuals, voiceover reading out what you can see on screen and a particular scene at the end with Jon Voight that had me reaching for the eye bleach.

The animated movies are still well-regarded, though. Also, ask and you shall receive: Sony have ended their live-action Spider-Man movies that never really had Spider-Man in them.
Yes. I was disappointed with Madem Web. It cold of been much better. I did think the Villain was good and how the Girls escaped him. I thought with Sidney Sweeney and Dakota Johnson in it, would be a good film. (No. I haven't watched the two Fifty shades of Gray movies and I don't think I want too. 😊.). Their 5 version of madam web in the comics. And they picked this one to choose . This is going to the 6th. The real best bit. Was the end in their costumes. I was going to the cinema to see the joker prt2 and I wanted to see borderland. ( never played the game. But heard alot abount it.).gild I didn't go now. As not only you have said it's bad. . Many Vedio games turn into movies are not so great. ( that be a good one. The 5 Best and worst Adaptation from video game to movie.). You did the top 5 moves of last year. I said I only saw deadpool and wolverine. But I forgot about M-web. But the two that I saw that I thought was good were " GZ +KK :the new Empire and Dune prt2. Nice one Amanda. 👽👍

Madame Web was worse than kraven 💯%
The Crow reboot was the movie that I ignored the hardest this year.

Thanks for the list, Amanda. I haven't seen any of these (thank God!). I'm sorry you had to suffer through these...
Thanks for the list. 2024 went by so fast it's hard to remember most of those you mentioned 😂
TOP 5 WORST MOVIES OF 2024:

2. The Crow
3. Tarot
4. Borderlands
5. Imaginary

Hi Amanda have a great day and love your voice 😍

Interesting picks. I like to hear your best 5 picks. Oh I actually enjoyed Back in Black an would replace that with Venom!🙈🤮

I think if they had done spiderwoman it would've been good because Sony has produced good spider threads in the past

Glad they didn't do Jessica Drew dirty in Madame Webb. Wouldn't mind Issa Rae making the jump to live action. So long as Sony execs don't muck it up
Kraven was pretty poo poo but not as bad as any of the other movies on this list.
Great job Amanda on these worst movies of 2024
You should Google acknowledging Roman Reigns from the WWE ❤🎉
Sony is destroying the Spider-verse live action. Give it back to Marvel and go make a video game console
The animated movies are still well-regarded, though.

You should watch Kraven if you haven't already.
It's terrible.
I'm so disappointed that Borderlands is so bad. I live the games.
