When that low B came in it just... damn! Serious bone crushing tone. I always love the Metallica covers too. 3 bass players and all 3 very different styles. One of the reasons they've remained my favorite band not just as a fan, but as a player. Always so much fun to learn their tracks note for note and really open up my own style to some cool ideas.
Awesome playing as usual and Spector basses rock! What a beautiful tone! Always find Spector basses have a nice action and yet retain clarity and a nice meaty tone at the low end 👍

As far as I can see, the big boys string is only used in the "outro" passage of the song and you could transpose that onto a 4 string especially if you were using an Octave pedal for some extra grind and weight
@@professormetal4411 Nope. Definetly more than a 2 or 3 songs. Load and Reload are half step down. Sad But True, Dream No More, Devil's Dance for examlpe are whole step down. All Nightmare Long is in Drop D. Most of St. Anger is in Drop C. So, i agree that most of Metallica is in standard E, but they used different tunings waaaay more often than only in 2 or 3 songs :)
