That harmonised lead bass is pure genius. I don’t think I’ve heard anything like that in a song still to this day.
Cliff was a pure genius. So glad that he was able to share his gift wih the world. We are lucky that he was here as long as he was.

I mean reading music sheets is the easiest thing in the world. You can learn it in 5-10 minutes and It's the very first thing you have to learn when you start playing an instrument.
And also, it is best to listen to the isolated bass recording for accuracy of what actually is being played. This is a cover but he is not playing everything right here which is fine. But if you wanna play it like cliff, listen to the isolated track.

Favorite moment is when he’s grooving, looks into the camera and realizes it’s capturing him grooving, and is like “naw dgaf son”

Probably tried to learn this on bass for 15 years , over the years I watched countless cover videos to try and learn it, never got it quite right, this video is the key
Orion is my favorite off puppets.
In high school, back in the 80s, my 3 main influences were Metallica, Led Zeppelin, and the doors.
I will always have a soft spot in my heart for all three.
