You are definitely your mothers son. You look just like her. Love the colors of those stone's! A nice pile of those, no matter how small, would look nice in an Shell or in one of your bottles after polishing. 👍❤️
Looking right to left makes it easier to spot them. It makes your eyes work harder because with the English language, you’ve adapted to reading left to right which requires your eyes to do less work. I learned this from a Flyfisherman in NC. Kind of reminds me of you.
I am on Huron right now! Fort Gratiot has lots of rocks. The famous Gowganda Tillite, that is two billion years old are there! The coral is called Favorisites, and Charlevoix stones. The first green, was Epidote. Some of the purple is fluorescent bubble gum pink! Best tool is a stick with a fryer basket attached to scoop from the surf! Saw a lady finding sharks teeth in the waves at Calvert Cliffs on the Potomac. Found a nice Mako tooth on the James River, with the MAGMA Club fossil hunt at Pipsico. Heading up to Alpena and going to Drummond Island, best place for Pudding Stones! Then the UP and Keweenaw for Copper! Of course, always looking after dark for FS! Have fun with Mom!
That rock at 9:35 with the red band through it might be a BIF - a banded iron formation. That's one of the sources of all the iron mined there. Michigan Rocks has a video of an entire mountain made of the stuff. So cool! Nice to meet your beautiful mom!
Leland blue is exclusive to Michigan as a byproduct waste of iron ore smelting along the lakes, some old brick furnaces still stand today, there is also a slag called pioneer blue that can be found in the upper peninsula of Michigan too
Mr. Wild.... I've been very busy with work... I travel often & I've had my nose down trying to get back to THE CAREER since things are opening up... Building up some more miles to GIFT you the end if this yr... Perhaps a new year getaway for you or a SPECIAL location you have always wanted to fossil hunt ! Just wanted you to know... You're loved in a brotherly way lol & you ALWAYS make any away from home... Setting, feel comfy & secure ! So... In a few words .. THANKS 4 BEING YOU !
Those are so cool. They would be gorgeous as jewelry. Blue is my favorite color so I think they are cool. Hello wildMomma❤️ Glad you are enjoying your family and getting to do awesome adventures too.
I love the turquoise looking ones ...so pretty! Nice to see you spending time with your mom 🥰 beautiful lady 💜🦋 Moms need time with their sons. Mine lives waaay across Texas with his wife and kids.... I miss them all. Keep making precious memories Kyle 👍🏻❤️
I'm with you Kyle. Sadly they would object if we put all the stones in our pockets and polished them up for ourselves! What are those lovely orange stones? Beautiful stone WildMama!!!
How cool! I've never had any desire to visit MI until I found out about Petoskey stones and yooperlites. Now I have even more reason, plus a 6-month-old baby cousin in Cadillac I need to meet! Your mom looks very friendly and I love her hair color! Glad you got to see her!
Great day hunting for For the Leland blue! I have been to northern Michigan several times - beautiful area. But haven’t run across the blues ( and greens And purples ). Glad you are having a good time rock hunting and spending time with your mom :)
Come see Michigan, it’s truly beautiful on the lakes. If you get to UP go to agate beach in Tiovola. Just beautiful! Superior is cold but Huron and Michigan are great to swim in!
Wonderful adventure, hope you had a fabulous day with your mum . The slag glass was amazing colours . We get it here in England but different colours. I love the lilac pieces . Happy beachcombing x.
Sorry im late man, just got back from an agate hunt😅 Thats awesome!!😄 duuuude lelands!!! they are sure fun to work with! You found some fantastic little gems man!😁 its so cool seeing you doing my kind of hunting, definitely a whole different experience from fossil screening😄 man i would love to see your reaction on the yellowstone; the rainbow jaspers and giant agates abound😁 one day! Awesome video dude! Awesome to see your mom join you for a hunt, and glad to hear your journey was safe! Cant wait to ser what else you get into out there!😄
Nice! those look awesome. I found you channel like a week ago and subbed. Found that one of my customer's work yard has a bunch of fossil shells in it. I'm going to go look for teeth tomorrow!
Greetings from Northport, just down the road from this location. I enjoyed your collaboration videos with Michigan Rocks. Nice to see you out with your mom!
Oh yeah truckloads of agate in Missouri too! You gotta swing by on your next trip north!!! Totally the most overlooked state for cool rocks. I’m just saying is all 🤷🏻♂️💎👀🤩
Ohh! Michigan Rocks'll be jellie! I never knew any of this existed when I lived there, now that I'm in Florida I have to go back to visit family like you to find them LOL
Nice to have you visiting up North enjoy your time. Just two weeks ago I was slag hunting, fossil hunting, rock hounding, on Lake Erie in NorthEast Ohio. Found some nice blue and green slags, wishing stones, and a hag stone and a few small shells. LOL. Yes shells, their a big deal to me. lol. No fossils though this time. :(
They’re all so beautiful. I like the purple but my favorite is the multicolor. That was nice of wildmom to share her curls with you. lol! I can’t wait to see more videos from Michigan. ✌🏻❤️🙂🙏
Pretty pretty stones that ain't stones I want one❤️ I love the line sky blue band one 😂😉 I saw Chris and brie hunting prtroski (sorry for the spelling!) stones with uv AMAZING
Awesome video and more beautiful stones are passed on your hands I wish there now 😭 however it's a very beautiful video showing us thank you I make jealousy now lol lol Fr.the Philippines 🇵🇭 peace and love
That is the cleanest beach I have ever seen. Theri isn't any broken dishes, bottles, stoppers, toys, plastics, bricks, cuncks of concrete, metals, screws, nails, wires, pipes, plastics, or other items. That has to be a fun place to hunt. Just be careful and don't get a sunburn.
That's because they are very serious about keeping the beaches clean in Michigan. Get caught leaving any trash behind you will pay a heafty fine. However, when I was a child, the beaches were littered with crap and one if us would usually cut a foot on glass or aluminum pop tops and cigarette butts were everywhere.
I never knew Leland blues came in green and almost purple. We always just hunted for the blues. Gonna have to start looking for the other colors. Looks like you had a great time!!! Love our state!!!! 😊
You have a beautiful mom! The colors are beautiful on those finds, and just the right size for jewelry settings! Did you enjoy not having to worry about snakes while in the water? You looked super relaxed!
Wow those are pretty I’m still learning a lot of the stones and different things never heard of it before I just might have to make a trip up that way I do have family down in the south so I’ll have to go down to Florida sooner or later so glad you made your trip up to Michigan and you get to see your mom she’s very young looking Just be safe when you’re riding around and when you’re on your way home let us know so we can keep an eye out for you have a good time
This was so much fun! I love the turquoise ones. (My favorite color) What a beautiful day too. The weather was perfect. I can't wait to go on another WildKyle adventure!
Great finds Kyle! Michigan Rocks would be impressed! I enjoyed watching you out of your element and up for the challenge. Thankfully you got a calm, beautiful day to search. I was on the Ontario side of Superior the same week and we had rough, wet weather with the exception of one afternoon. Amazing finds. I hope you enjoyed your holiday. P.S. WildMom doesn't look old enough to be your Mom!!!
So cool that your "Wild Mom" is hunting with you. Such pretty slag. I find blue slag on the St. Joseph River near where I live. Left over from iron smelting in the 1800s. It is not worn down by the water as much, but very pretty! I nicknamed it South Bend Slag! 😆
I am just like you walking along ...ROCK!!" only I'm usually sitting at home wishing I could climb through the screen lol. I hope to get some more river rocks at my brother's this summer. I live in the small city of Salmon Arm B.C. Canada and two places I would love to rock hunt is In the Great Lakes area and in Montana on the Yellowstone River . I like to dream :) Tell your Mom it was nice to meet her . :)

Looking right to left makes it easier to spot them. It makes your eyes work harder because with the English language, you’ve adapted to reading left to right which requires your eyes to do less work. I learned this from a Flyfisherman in NC. Kind of reminds me of you.
This is a lot more helpful than it seems. Definitely trying this on my next outing.

Sometimes the industrial trash becomes someone's treasure. Cool finds!

I've never been tempted to visit Michigan, but you and Cris are making a compelling argument to do so.
Northern Michigan is a paradise! If you've never been, its a must.
Come see Michigan, it’s truly beautiful on the lakes. If you get to UP go to agate beach in Tiovola. Just beautiful! Superior is cold but Huron and Michigan are great to swim in!
Michigan is a very beautiful state, just stay away from the cities. The farther north you go the nicer it is.
Grand Rapids Michigan is a good and friendly city to visit.
Wonderful adventure, hope you had a fabulous day with your mum . The slag glass was amazing colours . We get it here in England but different colours. I love the lilac pieces . Happy beachcombing x.

At the beach in Munising, they're mostly purple, or purple and white with a green every once in a while.
The slag pieces are lovely but I really love the basic beach pebbles and the coral fossils are cool. Hi to your Mum.
Kyle! Funner is a place not a word.
You have a beautiful mom! The colors are beautiful on those finds, and just the right size for jewelry settings! Did you enjoy not having to worry about snakes while in the water? You looked super relaxed!
