And I, who DID hear this way back in the 70. as Lou Rawls first did it, am no less stunned and surprised as our angel surch this one up, and takes me right bach to those days with this flabbergastingly impressive performance. 😮🤩
You will never find another talent like Angelina Jordan in our lifetimes. The full impact of this girl's talent comes when one watches as she closes her eyes and reinvents these lyrics so that she owns them, and they become ambrosia.
I'm from that era and I had to look up the artist. It was Lou Rawls who had the iconic hit. I liked Angelina's take on this and admire her clever use of whispering to imply a few of those low notes. There are two items on my wish list, both production notes: 1) I wanted some deep reverb on Angelina's voice, so that it didn't sound like she was singing two inches from my ear; 2) The backing track could have been a little louder, to give some context for Angelina's improvised inserts on the chorus. Her musical instincts are legendary, as always. Great reaction, Britt!
Some have coined her the girl with a thousand voices. That was one of them. 🙂 The song is a perfect example of how she grabs hold of the message of love in the song and makes you believe she has experienced the storyline of the song when you listen to her sing. And how she mastered her way around the song track was incredible and you got to hear a great example of her artistry at work. No one like her.
Hi Britt 👋. What a wonderful reaction. The paintings behind her, are couple of the ones that her grandma Mery painted. I liked this disco song 🎵 ack in the 70s from,Lou Rawls. So now I like his and Angelina's version. I agree with what you said. The contrast between Angelina's voice, her intimate style telling us a story to us with the background in the more upbeat disco tempo. You she should react to Angie covering Gloria Gaynor's song 🎵 "I will survive". It was a Grammy winning disco song from around the same era as the Lou Rawls song. Angie was 10 when she did the "I will survive". You'll love it.🙂👍❤
Hi Britt you find never a talent marvel and prodigy Girl like Angelina with so many voices in her body she has all the great Jazz and old Soul Singer in her body and who Angelina sings brings them all to life. She will be the best female singer ever!Give her a little time 5-10years.We Angels 😇 (Fans)alllove❤❤❤ Angelina.Great reaction Britt.Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭 ❤and🙏😊
Angelina is the master of that slow, mesmerising tone with its touch of melancholy and hint of life's world-weariness combined with some sort of redemption. You'll never find another talent like this.
In how many ways can this wonderful creature sing? Every time I listen to it it amazes me and puts that spectacular timbre that your immense talent has, beautiful Britt reaction, thanks always .. Massimo
When others singer try to make people amazed with their skill or high note, its not with angelina, she is not doing that, but she always take me fly with her voice. Jump and jump from another world to another world, era to era. And thats make me to keep in this journney
The great Lou Rawls performed this classic with all the great atmosphere of the era. Angelina's genius is being able to time travel with texture and breath to create the exact feel of a time gone bye. I continue to marvel at Angelina's musical intellect.
At the age of 13, Angelina Jordan recorded some beautiful videos. It seems that they were made in a familiar place (one assumes by seeing paintings of her grandmother hanging on the walls of the room where she is). Among these videos are "Can't Take My Eyes Off You", "Someone Like You", "Welcome to my world", "You Make Me Feel So Young", "Moon River", and "You Never Find Another Love Like Me" which you are broadcasting today. Another remark : there is something dizzying to consider the number of recordings made by AJ when, as you do, you present one every day. What this little girl has memorized as music from a very young age is wonderful. Thank you and congratulations for your initiative.
What a great reaction britt 😊 when i listen this song, with closed my eyes, then i hear a voice from a 60years old jazz lady, so good, i love it how she sing that song. She is defenitly the goddess of music and vocal for me 👑♥️🌹💫
There are raw vocals here. And she's breathtaking! That she can just casually whip this out is stunning!! This is how original fans fell in love with her. She would drop these covers. We were like, she should just cover every song!!!
She does a cover of You Were Always On My Mind that she dedicates to her grandfather, it's a very emotional video as she breaks down in tears at the end.
I just love this performance which, for some reason, doesn't get many reactions. Lou Rawls had a big hit with this which I loved in my youth. Angelina transports me back to those days with this updated interpretation. She is literally a "Musical Time Machine," that's what she does!
Lou Rawls, in his deep, gravelly voice gave us this love song. AJ does amazing for a young lady on this one, it's just impossible for her to reach those depths, not that it's required to have an enjoyable song. Recommend you listen since you heard a takeoff and remember it after all this time. Thanks for sharing.
This one is a Lou Rawls classic Angelina is just out of this world with this one , again she can sing anything !!! P.S. here is the original by Lou Rawls ( th-cam.com/video/phWBaVpeRcY/w-d-xo.html ) to hear how Angelina takes it to another place!!
The original artist is Lou Rawls Magdalena was only 13 years old here I think that you're not just a fan of hers, but a super sad sack loves her. Every time you react to Angelina, your face lights up and you are so happy. Almost every song you say is your favorite might as well say they all are your favorites. You are so lucky that you get to enjoy listening to her for the rest of your life. She'll bring joy and happiness throughout your years.
Britt I bet you can see yourself in a fifties nightclub in a shimmering white gown and the big band leader Introduces Angelina singing this song and feeling yourself being swept around the dance floor by a handsome man in a tux. :)
Just listened to her sing three songs, one like Elvis, one Jazz, now ti's Disco,no other singer could do it and she is about 12 here, she does not just sing but lives what she sings
Love the Carlton connection, Lou Rawls sung this beautiful whilst on the Philadelphia label in the late 70's maybe early 80's I actually saw him live doing it , but she gives it so much justice, genius,
I expect that we are seeing her natural musical talents. thirteen year old girls are not expected to sing in that sultry, seductive way from personal experience.
Her phrasing is FABULOUS!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 The original version was performed by Lou Rawls... And once again, our Angel has, with just her phrasing, created a version SO unique it's just so beautiful to listen... it's absolutely marvelous how she added those soft short waves for her voice to rise and fall... BRITT, I agree, makes me want to join in "Holy Canolee Smoke"!!! Your reactions are such fun to watch, your enjoyment is just !! OUTRAGEOUS CONTAGIOUS 👌🏻👍🏻😁🔥🌟⭐🎶🎵🎧🎹🎤🎙️🎼
Great reaction again, my friend!:-) as far as who sings this, it was Lou Rawls, and incredibly interestingly, he died less than a week before she was born! I found that out when I was researching, for fun, who she could be the reincarnation of. It seems she's an amalgamation of multiple artists reincarnated, but it's really cool that she happens to be born just a few days after Lou Rawls died. Anyway I always loved that song and after I learned about Angelina, I always had wanted her to sing it and then a little while later proof she did, and then I did my research and found out the above information about the death and birth coincidence. Anyway hope you find this information cool, and keep doing great reactions!
You’re definitely one of my favorite reactors. You do a great job! Never heard Carlton’s version but you owe it to yourself to listen to Lou Rawls version. This is about the only song that AJ has covered that I like the original a little more.
Her version of “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” is almost uncomfortably sultry given her age at the time. Nevertheless it’s brilliantly done and appropriate for the song, notwithstanding her age.
Hello Britt, "YOU'LL NEVER FIND ANOTHER LOVE LIKE MINE" was first released by Lou Rawles in 1976 on the Album " All Things in Time" .. Genre: Disco - Auszeichnungen: American Music Awards - Favorite Soul/R&B Single Nominierungen: Grammy Award - Beste männliche Gesangsdarbietung, Link Original Song - th-cam.com/video/5h2Wqfhe_Lk/w-d-xo.html
Moin Moin DISCO! Partygirl! Wann immer, ich Angelina zuhöre, mache ich eine Zeitreise! Whenever I listen to Angelina, I travel back in time! Stay save with distance! Wir sind mit ABSTAND die Besten! 😷😷 Bernd (4x💉BionTech, one week Corona, easy flow)🇺🇦
She is wondrous. Though some art should not be copied because they will fall short of the original. She is using the original backup sound track track from one of the greatest songs, the greatest Lou Rawls. If you have not heard it you are missing an American classic. BTW, you are great.
I love the way you react to AJ! As I understand the paintings you see on the wall here, are by AJ's grandmother Mery, a well known painter! The painting you see projected in the background of "I have nothing" are by her grandmother, as is the pattern on her pantsuit. If you would have picked the right/longer "Bohemian Rapsody" on AMGT, you would see her grandmother go crazy, lower right, when AJ got the golden buzzer! I love that too. AJ and grandmother are very close! I kinda think grandma got her started in the business. How come AJ has no songs on the top 100? I keep looking. When Adele came out with "Easy on me" it went to number 1. Two weeks after "Easy on me" came out, AJ did it better, and it went nowhere! How come?
You also must know that Carlton did his famous dance to a song by Tom Jones, “It’s Not Unusual” Please react to Tom Jones singing it on the Ed Sullivan show- you will lose it when he does his dance 🤣
You know what, inch cover i can say this one its on my top list, the cover after we can say samething, the question are more ,do you ave one you dont love...Ha...Haa...
Original was by Lou Rawls Love Angelina's version--so amazing, but you should listen to Lou Rawl's original too! Here's a link: th-cam.com/video/7RPjCUhHzsU/w-d-xo.html
I can’t believe that you don’t know of the icon love songs of Barry White? When you were a smile on your mother’s lips, and a twinkle in your daddy’s eye they’d knew?
I'm still a llittle disappointed she went breathy with this one. A few years ago, before I knew she had done this cover, it actually struck me one day coming home from work that this song would be perfect for her. When I got home, I searched YT and found out that she had indeed covered it - just not in the way I was expecting. She _could_ have sung the whole thing with the kind of resonance that peeked through just momentarily on that word "someone". Or, at least, she could have mixed that with a more natural midrange voice in the higher parts. I guess she just didn't want to do it that way. Oh, well…
IMO a very very rare miss by AJ but I guess it is way too much to ask her to top the great Mr L Rawls. Otherwise Miss AJ is cray cray. And Uber cool too.
You'll never find another singer like Angelina!
Amazing just amazing.
One of my absolutely favourites ! I love it SO much...
I'm always surprised when I come across another classic cover by Angelina that I've never heard before.
And I, who DID hear this way back in the 70. as Lou Rawls first did it, am no less stunned and surprised as our angel surch this one up, and takes me right bach to those days with this flabbergastingly impressive performance. 😮🤩

I have not heard this one. Excellent reaction, Miss Britt.
What a magical recording! Angelina's voice sounds like it is right in my ear. Thanks Britt for the reaction.
You are right, Britt.
It is cool how she sings slow and casual to an upbeat sound track in the background,
She is a Musically Possessed Genius.
No one like AJ !!!

Yeah baby, loved it so much, just so smooth and rich and deep 🙏🙏🙏
In how many ways can this wonderful creature sing? Every time I listen to it it amazes me and puts that spectacular timbre that your immense talent has, beautiful Britt reaction, thanks always .. Massimo
Angelina sings this very reminiscently of the great Lou Rawls who made the song famous. Great reaction to a great rendition by our Barefoot Princess!
Would love to hear you react to Angelina’s Amazing Grace 5:18

This is a great song. This reminds me of my days in the navy. Now Angelina has added her beautiful tones to it, now it is amazing.

Angelina can overpower and melt you with gentleness.
It just doesn’t get any better than this. I enjoy seeing your love for her shine through your reactions. ❤
Very nice reaction, Britt. I love watching angelina practice her vocal and arrangement talents in these home videos.
The great Lou Rawls ,who I saw in concert twice , Angelina is doing a fantastic cover of this , enjoyed your reaction as always
Thanks for another wonderful reaction, thumbs up.
That's why you'rey favorit reactor of AJ in detail love you thanks
Angelina REALLY played around with the phrasing of this song and it is absolutely beautiful. Great reaction Britt. 😉👣
Her voice is the finest instrument ever seen 😍
She does a cover of You Were Always On My Mind that she dedicates to her grandfather, it's a very emotional video as she breaks down in tears at the end.

Britt I bet you can see yourself in a fifties nightclub in a shimmering white gown and the big band leader Introduces Angelina singing this song and feeling yourself being swept around the dance floor by a handsome man in a tux. :)
I used to love this song back in my youth. Lou Rawls was a great crooner.!
She slows every song she does way down and I love it !! Her control not to just start belting things out is amazing ! She's just a little sweetheart ❤
I am back to my young disco days in the 70ies
Awesome reaction, God Bless!
It's like she infused Diana Ross with Judy Garland and came up with a female version of Lou Rawls, fascinating. Great reaction Britt.
Just listened to her sing three songs, one like Elvis, one Jazz, now ti's Disco,no other singer could do it and she is about 12 here, she does not just sing but lives what she sings
