"Perennial" is from the 2019 EP Micro, newer than Pisces from the 2016 2nd album. The song is about fall and winter seasonal depression, the winter blues, which affects Tatiana. A perennial being a plant that comes back every spring. Glad the sound guys got stuff figured out for this last song, a great demonstration of how good, not just Tatiana, but the entire band is live on stage.
Man, your Jinjer reactions are amazing! As you're late to the game, you have the opportunity of double reactions. A lot of good recommendations already here. My double pack recommendations. Teacher, Teacher! OMV + Live in Melbourne Judgement (and Punishment) OMV + Tatiana one take vocal performance Pit of Consciousness OMV + Live in Kijv
I love that you also look at the live performances! I'd suggest doing Judgement & Punishment OMV and Tatiana's one take vocal performance of it. It is quite impressive. Thank you!
Jinjer is simply my favorite band. Never thought someone could replace Maiden who had been my favorite since 1983. Found Kinjer 7 years ago and I quickly fell in love with the band.
Jinjer - Audiotree From Nothing (Live Performance) Jinjer - Call Me A Symbol (Official Live in LA) Jinjer - On The Top (Bloodstock 2022) Jinjer - Someone's Daughter (Official Video)
Tatiana is a Mezzo-Soprano with an A2 to G5 range (there's a list on the net showing which are the songs where she hits high notes and it says that in Perennial she hits C#5!). SuMetal of Babymetal was a C to G#5 so it would be interesting to hear a duet from them...though maybe with just Tatiana for the low notes.
Jinjer are super talented through the whole band. I think Eugene's bass tone is one of the best in the world. Vlad, the drummer, is also a classical pianist and Roman, the guitarist has a unique tone that lends identity to their signature Jinjer sound. They evolve with each new release and the two new singles from their forthcoming album are both excellent There's the chaos and violence of 'Rogue' and the lovely mixed, progressive composition of 'Someon'e Daughter. I definitely recommend having the lyrics up. Tatiana is the principal lyricist and she is soooo clever. There's poetry in her writing that always adds another dimension to every song. Happy to come for the ride with you, man!
@@jonathanbradshaw2665 Thank you for the suggestions sir! Much appreciated. I like the poetry in the lyrics mixed with their music style and her vocals it adds more layers to their already talented writing!
They’re one of the rare bands, who in my opinion sound better live than on ep. They have soooooo many great songs,Pit of Consciousness live Kiev is possibly the peak of human civilisation 😂. The lowest of lows & the highest of highs vocal wise & of course the boys are on point.
Truly something special and magical. So grateful to have their incredible art in my life. Seeing them for the fifth time this Thursday and cannot wait!
It's waaaay more than that. Courtney LaPlant, Lauren Hart, Alissa White-Gluz, Tanya Beickert, Skye Sweetnam, Lena Scissorhands, Lauren Babic, and Vicky Psarakis are all famous-ish that I can think off hand, but think of all the covers that are out there of their songs and the countless other amazing singers no one knows about.
Check out the female lead for the band lgnea they are also are from Ukraine and lead singer has a comprable growl to Tatiana ‘s, and also switches back and forth between cleans and growls.
@@ZachComa some more singer/screamers are Adrienne Cowan of Seven Spires, Yukina from Hanabie. (though she does more a kawaii/rap/scream combo than the classic sing/scream), Floor Jansen, and Vana.
My favorite performance is Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev
I will check it out !
This is another great song to do the official music video followed by the official live (Kiev).
I love the fact that you’re doing the MV and live of songs. Great stuff!
Thank you very much! I am a big fan of live shows !

Oh wow !!!Mezzo - Soprano is hard to do!
@@dejzmi7089 But they both make it look so effortless - there's never any strain visible, in their voices or expressions.

You have been hitting three of my favorite bands with Jinjer, The Warning, and Hanabie.
Yes!!! And more bands coming this week!
Yes, always here for the double feature!!

There are only 6 or 7 female singers in the world who can switch between clean singing and growling and screaming and back again.
