Don't down yourself Gareth, we are here watching because we like you as a person, you are doing a fine job, the camera quality was Great and your walk around the place was very informative and beautiful, I can understand you not wanting to video people and especially kids as its a privacy thing, and it could get confrontational with some people. Booze n Fun, you know what that so called fun really costs, its truly not worth it for some of us, there are trade offs in all of life, and booze certainly ruins lots of happy lives and Families, you've made the right decision to call it a day and I'm so happy for you.

Enjoy your holiday. We enjoyed several holidays at similar camps when our kids were younger. Have a look at Centerparcs over there too. Not as expensive as the British ones, but of course you have to factor in the cost of the ferry etc.

Anywhere away from people as they are hard work these days and consumerism, Scenery a Tent/camping and BBQesque amenities and I'm happy. I like to make my own Adventures Learn and Enjoy along the way certain places you can't do that.
Well done staying off drink. When you get back park in a busy town centre at midnight one weekend and watch the madness, to remind yourself why you don't drink any more. Best wishes to a man beating the drink on an ongoing basis.

Looks like a great place with plenty to see and do. You didn't mention the prices though (as per the description in the title) - however, if you are a 'captive audience' you can expect to pay a premium. But the convenience of having everything on site is what your paying for.... like to see the chateux if you get chance to visit. As a side note, I think you may find the quality of the food generally higher there than the UK - certainly the sausage review you did earlier showed that to be true. Enjoy and save your posting for when you get back - just have some chilled down time :)
Looks a nice enough place, looks quite peaceful and relaxed. Any fishing to be done? Love to dangle my tackle in the odd bit of "watta"......lol. Always wanted to try chucking a few arrows. I guess as long as you and your family enjoy the facilities, thats all that matters. Stay away from the demon tho matey.........enjoy!
Where abouts in Brittany/Bretagne/Briezh. We had a place slap bang in middle near Josselin. The supermarkets are great, nearly all local produce. Very expensive though. Veal was cheaper than a chicken. The quality of food was excellent. Even down to the potatoes and cauliflower. Sadly we couldn't spend more time there, too many commitments at home, plus we were paying taxes in two countries, being skint meant we couldn't sustain it. Where else could you get a 5 bedroom townhouse for under £60K? It's a beautiful place. And the people are lovely. At least we had the chance to do it. No regrets other than Brexit. Especially if you want to take your bulldog with you. The vet charges cost nearly as much as the ferry. At least none of us caught rabies.
You know what's brilliant Gareth? When someone asks "what are you having?" And you can reply proudly "I don't drink" Being Irish, people here look at me as if I've 6 heads when I say that but you get used to that 👊👊👍👍
Most of these French sites won’t let you wear swimming shorts, they have to be trunks for hygiene reasons. Not overly keen on my 12" wanger being the Center of attention so we usually go to Centre Parks (currently at Les Boise aux Daims) who are fine with shorts.
