I heard about the author of Avalon and put it in the never to read list. But now that I know the publisher is using sales for good, it is still unlikely but not as impossible. I can compartmentalize, like occasionally a Michael Jackson song comes on and I don't change the radio channel. Still, I have yet to read Ender's Game because the author has bad politics.
@@Montie-Adkins it’s hard bc sometimes I am able to compartmentalize and sometimes it just casts a shadow over the message being presented. I would still avoid this book, if only for the one scene bc of how it relates to the author’s alleged actions. But I think if someone read this book years ago they might not have “read into” that part of the book at all. Maybe authors should stop doing garbage things but hey, they are just people and sometimes people suck 🤷♀️
@@wolfzbyte ok this is tough. I personally think you should read them in publication order, so Black Tongue Thief first. BUT you could do either and be fine. The ending of Daughters War might feel abrupt if it’s the first book you read in the series.

It's from 1985
Do you recommend to read the blacktongue thief or daughters war first since one is a prequel?
