Great, especially the first tip....finally a solution to an annoying thing.....no longer do I have to swipe up or touch the fingerprint sensor to get to my homescreen. You're the best!🙏
This is hands down the most useful settings video, it blows my mind that these are not the default settings? Why did devs put double unlock with face ID, face ID should be a hands free option by default! 🙃
Well well well just today have ordered Pixel 9 Pro which will be delivered to me in 5 days time. This will be my first android in over 10 years. Excited at the same time a bit cautious. Glad this video showed up on my TL, was very helpful. Thanks 🙏🏼
Omg coming from Galaxy I didn't know where some of these options were or what they were called or if they even existed. The auto confirmation for pin and face were my only pain points with the phone thank you so much
For notification history, you could have just tapped at the 'No notifications' of the notifications shade. I also have to say most of the tips shared in this video were already activated on my device out of the box.
I used to use skip lock screen with biometrics but unfortunately you can't use that and also have media controls display on lock screen at the same time, which is annoying, so I have it set to not skip since I like to use my Spotify controls on the lock screen
Hello... I'm new user a Goggle Pixel 9 XL, and I have one question? Is there any way to block the control center while the Pixel is locked? I searched a long time and can't find anything, but I know that Apple and Samsung phones have this feature. In my opinion, it is be a huge security risk if anyone can just turn off Wifi, GPS, etc. so that you can't locate your phone in case it is stolen (or someone wants to be funny and annoy you by doing these things) Also is there a setting to make sure that the phone can only be turned off or restarted if you enter the password / biometric dat (for the same reason as mentioned before) I hope this security issue is resolved quickly. Thank You
Thanks for the useful tips. A question: When I unlock my Pixel 9 Pro (I had the same problem with the Pixel 6), I sometimes don't land on the starting page but in some app. I've never understood why.
Hi, I’m looking for the best way to safely store passwords and manage autofill on the S24 Ultra. Are Google Pass and Samsung Pass secure options? I’d love to hear your recommendations!
Do you prefer the pixel 9 pro to Samsung phones? I'm intrigued about making the switch, but I'm worried about the heat issues I had with previous Pixel devices
"Your content is awesome-I’m honestly surprised it’s not getting more views! A fresh thumbnail style or some updated editing techniques could easily boost your channel. your channel truly deserves more attention
Can someone confirm for me if the fingerprint works when the screen is black (that is, when it is in sleep mode)? I saw a video on TH-cam where a user could not unlock the phone with his fingerprint if he did not press the power button beforehand. Thank you. (on s24U in comparison it worked when the screen was off).
Tapping once turns the screen on, then again to use the sensor. Not 100% ideal but it is better than hitting power every time. I miss the old sensors on the back of the ;phone.
@@roberts1429 Yes, it's a bit inconvenient to do something like that all the time. Why didn't they copy samsung? They still have to learn from the biggest players on the phone market. Thank's
Both great devices. I have both and prefer the 9 Pro XL. If you're on big high performance games, then get the s24u. I play simple games and love the simplicity of the Pixel. And I have kids and pets, so love the Pixel being able to get great pics of moving objects. Samsung still till this day gets way too many blurry shots
You should never enable face unlocked or fingerprint unlocked, that's an easy way for the so-called authorities to get in your phone, legally. They can make you look at your phone to unlock it or for sure finger onto your phone to unlock it, but they cannot force you to give up information that's inside of your head...
Google really dropped the ball on this phone, I have 9 XL Pro for my work phone, and the cameras are horrible on this phone. Google could have done much better than this. I would not recommend a Pixel phone to anyone, I hate that phone

Only had my 9 for a few days and you are the only one who has really helped setting my new phone. Thank you
Good video, well presented and useful tips 👍
Best tips I have seen so far. Good job mate

Great Video. Just the phone and the tips. All of them are very useful. Thanks for that
I had pixel 9 pro xl for one day, and it was enough for me. I returned it and I bought instead S24 ultra, and it was the best decision I made.
What made you return it ?

I have the 9 Pro Xl and under screen lock, there is no: Auto-confirm unlock" Yes, then noted my pin four number. Great video!
Do you have any tips for customizing your widgets where it doesn't have a watermark and or that circle around the icons?

excellent tips, thanks
Informative

Good video 👍
Device unlock without hitting enter is not showing in the list of options
These were all very useful, Alex. Thank you!

I suggest 1Password

I heard that was fixed this year
My 9ProXL does not have the auto unlock option under screen unlock. Wtf 😒
That option is only available if your PIN has six or more digits. If your PIN is less than six digits you cannot use that feature.
@@sethg.4127 ah, ty. That's so dumb tho. Be nice with 4 digits. But I get it. Lol
I found and adopted several of the useful tips here
Can someone explain why the video recording audio is very low?

What watch face are you using?

Look at 1:36 and see that the presenter did it.
This phone has terrible screen brightness, half the speed of competition and heavier.
Great tips! (Maybe slow down your speech a bit LOL)
That first tip was GOLD, thank you!
I don't have that Spam call option on mine
Same... 😕
I don't see the clock (like yours) on your lockscreen on the pixel.
You have to choose a dynamic clock and have no notifications to make it like that, if a notification comes, it goes back to the small clock
They are all familiar features
can you make a video about vivo phone's
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra or Google Pixel 9 Pro? Which one is best? Anyone suggest me plz

I love when people use finger/face ID, it makes it so much easier to get into someone's phone while they sleep.
Swipe down with two fingers
Face unlock on pixel isn't secure and shouldn't be used.
Why is that?
Not all of those settings on 9pro xl
The phone hes using is a pixel 9 pro
There's no difference between them except size.
