They wanted to maintain the illusion of the classic faction starter pack including a vanguard, a heavy, an assassin and a hybrid, but it's painfully clear that they introduced four characters with varying degrees of assassin and hybrid to them. There's nothing distinctly "vanguard" about Tiandi that would warrant that to be his primary designation, he's 75% assassin and maybe 25% vanguard hybrid. Jiang Jun is just a hybrid of everything, but being a "heavy" is the smallest part of his kit. In truth, he's like the Nobushi on steroids, who herself is correctly classified as a vanguard/assassin hybrid. The Shaolin is loosely labeled as hybrid, but is pretty much a full assassin. Nuxia is the only one they managed to identify correctly. Look, I get it, For Honor devs love their assassin characters with overbloated kits. But the least they could do is stop pretending like those new characters are anything other than what they truly are.

These new characters are so op Ive been around since cent and this.... This is just fucking ridiculous. The first day I played Shaolin I won 5 duel matches without losing ( 3-2 3-0 3-1 3-2 3-0). Shaolin: Spam lights and use stance often but feint all heavys you make. Nuxia: Frequent feint trap use but throw a real heavy in once a while. Spam lights JJ: Use kick and sisu VERY often. His position punish is 84 DMG and use slap when they are iOS Tiandi: I don't play tiandi
It's not that I think the new characters are too over-powered, but that they made them without the current character base in mind with their much more restricted, really lack-luster move set. A lot of the current characters are either playstyle A or B or just not playable #StopNerfingShugoki because of their not only extremely predictable but lack of actions they can have. The Wu Lin are extremely flexible to a lot of different playstyles. That's the only problem I have with CHINA NUMBAH WAN.
And ppl say theyre not op, id say they aint broken like Zerk Conq and Warden but look at that shit... Tiandi for example, why can he abuse the prolongued from a dodge attack while being able to hard feint it entirely? They dodge things they souldnt and baiting is non existent so good luck punishing that character depending on what youre playing... palmstrike with a undodgeable? Why he gets to have it when everyone else doesnt? Why does he gets a opener into a undodgeable when a hero like Raider doesnt even to everything he does is reactable? Why is he allowed to feint everything? Thats retarded, even the dodge attack? Not even Kensei and Zerk can do that but you know... Wu Lins are balanced... deeply balanced... *Miss me with that Gay Lin shit nigga, fuck outa here!*
Vitor Vena if you can seriously sit there and tell me a rep 23 tiandi can keep up with a rep 23 zerk after the rework, you’re coo coo. This is coming from someone who has seen a rep 23 tiandi fight a rep 23 zerk. He’s NOTHING special when it comes to zerk. All wu Lin are predictable and counter-able. You just need to pay attention to how they fight. If you parry a tiandi it’s game over for them bruh. Or just interrupt their dodge lights fast enough.
@@samsmelson6276 interrupt dodge lights? Lol... Like i said theyre not broken like for exanple Zerk, but they have way too many easy to land options, everything they do is a counter strat since they have everything on demand, they just need to NOT spam one thing... @@samsmelson6276 even the S-Tiers are pretty playable/beatable but that doesnt make these fights interesting, in fact is a matter of you outplaying the enemy multiple times with actualy good mixups while the enemy can either eat those mixups, spam one move or simply "outkit" you by having almost every fucking mechanic at hand... "Reactable and Counterable" ... sure, react to Shaolins kick, or lights... specialy when a good Shaolin will never use it till you finaly forget about trying to predict it... Honestly, stop, your argument here is already poorly constructed and youre defending the Wu fuckn Lin dude... the reason to why we went into the Lowest state we ever been... the reason why multiple streamers and youtubers alongside a big part of the community left...
Vitor Vena The other dude is right, the Wu Lin are reactable and counterable. When I was using Shaolin to grind the Rep 7 achievement for a Wu Lin hero, I once was matched against a Raider main, out of all characters, who dodge Shao’s kick from Qi stance. Every single time. So I couldn’t use my expanded options in Qi stance. It was nice because it was when I was starting to use Shaolin (Rep 1? Can’t remember) and it forced me to utilize his full kit instead. As I went higher in my overall reputation, I encountered more players that reacted accordingly and without any issues towards Shaolin’s attacks (including the fast lights) and mixups. The same with the other Wu Lin heroes. For me, it was frustrating at first but now, after dedicating and putting effort, I can now hold up against the Wu Lin. What I’m trying to say is that you need to put in the effort to learn how to fight the Wu Lin instead of complaining. No offense, but in a more rude way: Git gud. (Sorry). It’s funny how you tell the other guy he made poorly constructed arguments when all you’ve done is cry and complain about heroes whom you won’t take the time to learn how to fight them. As for the last paragraph, I just laughed. It was definitely the Wu Lin that caused many to leave For Honor and *definitely* not the developers not being on the same page with the community, in terms of what we want (reworks and the such).
The wu lin are only terrible because of the dependence on light attacks really, and it is reactable/counterable but it's boring having to stare deeply at an indicator when I fight them. The wu lin don't really promote mix ups and mind games rather than out cheesing them if you can that's why I play mostly kensei since marching fire. Unless it's one of tiandis undodgeables I can just stare them down and side step heavy nearly every attack they open with.
Really nice video Marco! This time I don't have any experience with these characters so I can't correct you this time. Also, JJ needs a buff, don't @ me saying otherwise.
@@ZielekTV Well that doesnt mean anything, I could easily apply the same logic to Valkyrie, see, her sweep is also 600ms and guarantees 35 damage, but you don't see people calling her OP, do you?
@@LaserThemTheGirl Please disregard what I just said, and apologies for my harsh remark. I just realized what I said made absolutely no sense at all, what I meant was, say for example when Valk goes for a heavy, and can feint it into a shield bash, it's not as bad, I mean sure it can start a chain, but the fact that JJ can soft feint into another direction when throwing a heavy is completely insane, and with the speed of the heavies, I mean sure they're hella reachable on PC but on console where they can spam without a care in the world without Stamina. It can just be a real issue to deal with.
If the learning curve doesn't scare you off I'd say so. Lots of people online have been playing a ton so you'll have to get good quickly if you want to win anything. I've been on PS4 with it for a few months now and it's plenty lively, matchmaking is garbage though :P
@@Kikazino Good to hear, and while it can be annoying it can be a learning experience too. For instance not too long ago I had a Rep 2 (basically 2nd prestige if you're familiar with CoD) Centurion and kept fighting a Rep 26 Cent, and yet I destroyed him every time we met because he couldn't parry or dodge, which was something you should learn early on. It's awesome though :D
I already had problems with assassins and then they added even worse characters that can do more feints so yeah i’m pretty screwed now if someone nows a good character to deal against wu lins please help me.
Cunt Lord44 they’ll all try to dodge. During the dodge they’re open to guard breaks. Also if you party any of them their game gets completely messed up. If you want a true stomp, use zerk. Since the rework, zerk’s hyper armor allows them to tear up about 90% of the cast.

Lol... He said the hooker of the east. Fake laughed a bit then had a real laugh at the fake laugh. Lmao that was gold . I too find myself laughing at my own jokes lol

Why do the Wu Lin have only 3 armor sets?
These new characters are so op Ive been around since cent and this....
This is just fucking ridiculous.
The first day I played Shaolin I won 5 duel matches without losing ( 3-2 3-0 3-1 3-2 3-0).
Shaolin: Spam lights and use stance often but feint all heavys you make.
Nuxia: Frequent feint trap use but throw a real heavy in once a while. Spam lights
JJ: Use kick and sisu VERY often. His position punish is 84 DMG and use slap when they are iOS
Tiandi: I don't play tiandi
Yo, you said qi right, I'm actually really happy now, thanks
How do I join the Wu Lin faction?
You can feint the unblockable heavy chain ender
I went from a peacekeeper main to a Nuxia main when I got back into this game
Can tiandi soft faint evrything with dodge?
its rather good that these guys have more variation and should be a nod to A LOT of the older heroes that need a overhaul since their kit is...smal
shaolin's out of stamina punish is safe if you already had your guard on top.

12:24 HILARIOUS!!!
Most op faction guide is all we need said no one
It's not that I think the new characters are too over-powered, but that they made them without the current character base in mind with their much more restricted, really lack-luster move set. A lot of the current characters are either playstyle A or B or just not playable #StopNerfingShugoki because of their not only extremely predictable but lack of actions they can have. The Wu Lin are extremely flexible to a lot of different playstyles.
That's the only problem I have with CHINA NUMBAH WAN.
I passed this video up like 8 times. Okay TH-cam I'll watch it
Hope you do a video for the new heroes in 2019, great video as usual 😁
Dont defend the Wu Lin dude, as far as the hate towards the characters are expected, its not only about that, the miss use of resources and terrible business move theyre part of only grows the hate!
I kinda hate that Shaolin can cancel his Unblockable Top Heavy. I mean. How the fuck is he coming down that fast
Is he on pc? Everything looks so slow
Bradly Harris um look at the bottom left
@Dwight Light Does the PC version have PS4 controller support? I know most games just have Xbone or 360 support, that's pretty cool if it does.
Really nice video Marco! This time I don't have any experience with these characters so I can't correct you this time.
Also, JJ needs a buff, don't @ me saying otherwise.
28 damage on a 600ms attack.. Do i need to say more?
@@ZielekTV Well that doesnt mean anything, I could easily apply the same logic to Valkyrie, see, her sweep is also 600ms and guarantees 35 damage, but you don't see people calling her OP, do you?
@@LaserThemTheGirl yeah, she may be able to get off major damage, but at least I fucking know what direction that bitchass attack is coming from.
@@tennofox2106 ... Pardon?
@@LaserThemTheGirl Please disregard what I just said, and apologies for my harsh remark. I just realized what I said made absolutely no sense at all, what I meant was, say for example when Valk goes for a heavy, and can feint it into a shield bash, it's not as bad, I mean sure it can start a chain, but the fact that JJ can soft feint into another direction when throwing a heavy is completely insane, and with the speed of the heavies, I mean sure they're hella reachable on PC but on console where they can spam without a care in the world without Stamina.
It can just be a real issue to deal with.
The End xD
The new Characters! :D
Is this game worth buying?
If the learning curve doesn't scare you off I'd say so. Lots of people online have been playing a ton so you'll have to get good quickly if you want to win anything. I've been on PS4 with it for a few months now and it's plenty lively, matchmaking is garbage though :P
@@drownsinkoolaid4203 shit matchmaking is present un a lot of games so i think ill give it a try
Seriously a guide for the cancer ?

Nuxia Light nd unlockable
Shaolin dodge heavy nd triple side light
I already had problems with assassins and then they added even worse characters that can do more feints so yeah i’m pretty screwed now if someone nows a good character to deal against wu lins please help me.
Cunt Lord44 they’ll all try to dodge. During the dodge they’re open to guard breaks. Also if you party any of them their game gets completely messed up. If you want a true stomp, use zerk. Since the rework, zerk’s hyper armor allows them to tear up about 90% of the cast.
Thanks for the help, appreciated man

I think it’s crazy how tiandi doesn’t lose crazy stamina while dodging. 🤦🏾♂️
