Great Build(s) Voss!! The comedy is the greatest, the clocks 🕰️ are the best & the board sandwich 🥪 already has me hungry!! LoL 😂 Poor Jeff 🪦 ⚰️ 😢 Truly great builds & content!! 💯 👍
Love the ideas! To get the fit of the clock better I first thought of chewing gum!😂. However I think there is some sort of clay or puddy you could try or a dab of hot glue that would mold it a better fit. Sometimes you got to think outside the box.😂
Another GREAT video.....I've been wanting to build some clocks, in fact I've had some clock parts in my shop for some time now. This video may have gotten me in the mood to give a couple a try........... 1 : 50 or 10 to 2.....Timex time
I attach my patterns by first putting clear or white self adhesive shelf paper on the wood then glue my pattern to that. No residue when you pull the paper off.
Yeahh, I do a quick cut through for the bandsaw in this one, set the blade tension correctly, and the bear guides to prevent the blade from going wherever and have a good time :) I also map the cuts outs in my head to make things easier next bandsaw build Ill cut in some more of the bandsaw usage
Band saws are tricky. However it’s not hard. Thinner blades are basically for thinner stock. More like plywood. Depending on the thickness of what you cut the thicker your wood the slower you need to go. Try to cut shorter cuts first. While being a beginner at this take your time and basically cut out the larger waste first. The thicker your blade the turns are harder to cut because it doesn’t flex as much. Cutting out the larger waste away from your cut line allows your to come back to fine tune your final lines. Plus removing the waste and chunky areas allows you to better allow the blade to maneuver and flex as it’s not as thick. Practice on pine scraps and plywood. Hardwood can snag if you go too fast. As mentioned above please assure your tension is appropriate for the blade. Try not to stand behind or in front of the blade. Until you get the feel of everything just take your time and know how to stop your machine quickly. I suggest a pedal switch so when you step off it it will shut off. Harbor Freight has them pretty cheap.
Nice work sir I'm going to have to find some time to make one. Don't know if it would be possible to get your address so I could send you something I have made as appreciation for all your ideas
I appreciate the thoughtful appreciation! However I do not share that information. You can always share builds and photos on the Woodworking for Beginners page on Facebook, im usually there if Im not here :P thanks buddy

Really enjoy your channel and appreciate the plans.
Nice projects, simple but look good. If I was doing a bunch, I'd probably look for a forstner bit, sized just right for the clock mechanism.
Great builds on the clock I think I’ll incorporate the clock idea into a bandsaw box /clock
Thank you Voss
Thank you, Larry!! :)
Great video and entertaining as always 👍🏻 I have a video idea for you, a blanket ladder with the top step a shelf.
Forestner bit works well

Where would your best suggestion be to find the clocks?
I wish you would have showed more of a video of you using the bandsaw. I haven't used one and I want to get one

Like the man says .. patience & hand-toe configuration be important. Don’t leave either behind when you’re done.
What do you use to make the plans? Thanks.
Will you dad adopt me? I need some scrap walnut from time to time ❤️
