Okay, so I’m in the car listening to the radio, heard the intro to Harry’s original version (barely hearing it once before), but got SO excited because I was like, “BLANKS HAS A SONG ON THE RADIO IN THE U.S. “ then I realized it was Harry & not Simon 🙃

"As It Was" is my all time favorite song, and I can *never* stop listening to it! Your singing was wonderful, and watching you remake the song was quite thrilling. The final product was awesome!
Yeah same. I first heard the tune on the radio. Via my TX-SR 373 Onkyo AVR. I was like oooo love this little ditty. It's got 23 year old girl vibes about it. Love me some 20s chick vibes. But any who, then when I listened more and more critically I realized yeah this totally has the happy teanie vibes of my next door 23 year old neighbor Sierra. Once I realized it has Sierra vibes as you said can't stop listening to the tune. I've also listened to the atmos stems. Ah that just expozed the Sierra vibes even more. Let's see here. Ah the Aha Take On Me thing. Meh not really. I can kinda see how people try and compair it to that but meh the Weeken Blinding Lights feels more Take on Me then this.

Before you get too carried away with your guitar chord originality you may choose to start to work your way through The Cure back catalogue assuming you haven't already. Perhaps start at "A Forest" and go from there till you arrive at " Just Like Heaven " and beyond to "Lullaby " and all that's in between. You'll find they have had that sound for over 40 years.
Having said that I really enjoyed this video. Incredible. Nicely edited as well to keep the audience interested.
