I believe there is truth and lies to various degrees from both parties. Because both parties aren’t focused on the right things. And I feel that healthy AND unhealthy families communicate but in different ways. Because we confuse close families for also being healthy…and they’re not synonymous.
And just because families may be selective of who and how they share information, doesn’t mean they’re not close. I feel a healthy family supports while ALSO holding the family member accountable and will provide wise counsel that helps protect and guide towards amicable, mature solutions as much as possible. Unhealthy families will communicate and simply just blindly support, never hold their family member accountable to how they contributed to their own stressor, spread family gossip, and rile up drama versus focusing on creating a peaceful environment that’s conducive to maturely handling things.
3:11 when kids are smearing themselves and their surroundings with their own poop - it’s a self defensive mechanism kids use to protect themselves from being abused physically or $exually. It’s a subconscious mechanism they use to make themselves “unappealing” and disgusting to their abuser so that their abuser is hopefully so grossed out by the child that they stop coming near the child and stop touching the child.
Also mentally ill in insane asylums that are now proven to have $exually abused and r*ped the inmates in them also have a reputation of smearing themselves and their surrounds in their own feces.
So yeah - if you ever have a kid smearing themselves in poop, sure it can just be the kid being “naughty” but you might want to keep an eye on what is going on with that kid and who is coming into contact with that kid when adults who can protect that kid is not watching.
Almost always in cases where a boy starts acting out out of nowhere - something deeper is going on with him. However most little and even older boys are so ashamed of being $exually abused by a man or woman bc of the perception they are raised with that boys need to be tough or that being touched by a man might mean they are gay (kids use something being gay even to this day as an insult) so they will stay silent or refuse to divulge the truth even when you question them. You need to help them open up to you gently and without shaming or stressing them out and if you can’t do it then take them to a child psychologist.
I saw this happen in my male cousins case - people labelled him a weirdo or an abnormal child but some very freaky messed up stuff was going on at the Catholic all boys school he went to that he never told his parents about.

She should've never put this shit out publicly in the first place. These kids never chose to be public figures and now her kids' traumas and abuse is public knowledge to the whole world. More importantly, it's public knowledge to the people in her social circle (people who actually know her kids). It's incredibly hard for survivors to open up about their traumas, now everybody knows about it before they can even understand it themselves.
