I was blown away when l found out the DC-15A had an option to turn the barrel upside down as the underbarrel grip was actually like a 4x scope. I don’t know if its canon but l saw an image online and l thought it was so cool but never saw it in action. I guess kinda like how the DC-15S stock can be extended but never happens on screen or in games
There is also Ezra Bridger’s first lightsaber which was a blaster pistol/lightsaber hybrid and then there was the lightsaber/blaster rifle hybrid used by Joscta Nu the Jedi librarian in the cannon Star Wars comics which should be under the blaster melee weapon section of the video
and also the rifle that used lightsaber hilts as ammo, used by a master vader killed, but i think thats legends now

for me, probably one of the portable repeating blaster, mainly because it offers good fire rate for maximum damage in a short period of time.
As long as you don't have to ruck it anywhere far. Gotta love the firepower.

I think the disruptor is more of a launcher than a blaster, so maybe that’s why it’s wasent on the list
My favorites are probably the wookiee bowcaster, the DC-15S blaster carbine, the ELG-3A blaster pistol and the DC-17M blaster used by clone commandos.

I'd take the E-11D as my main (it is my main in bf2) and a DL-44 as a side arm. Both are some of my favorites in star wars.

I always imagined Jango Fett had modified his dual pistols to produce more stopping power. Their brutal sound is always a highlight for me in the general meh of Ep II
If I recall, Star Wars Legends, pre 2018, Boba Fett used a "sawed" off or cut down: illegal blaster. His early back story was that of a ex Storm Trooper. Then in Marvel Comics plots; Fett was 1 of 3 remaining elite Madalorean Super Commandos. He went rogue & became a mercenary, bounty hunter.
Westar 34's are definitely powerful, Coleman Trebor couldn't even block one shot without having his saber thrown off and then Jango one shot the Reek (the dinosaur thing) in the Petranaki Arena. They're low capacity, fast firing, and powerful; definitely a class of their own in terms of blaster pistols. Not comparable to something like the DC-17 or the DH-17, despite those packing a punch on their own.
Normal blasters can easily fire 30+ times but Westars top out at 20 shots via "the Official Star Wars Fact file"; despite being specially made of Dallorian Alloy to make them more heat resistant. So Westar 34's are made of Dallorian Alloy to sustain repeated fire of their incredibly high intensity shots, not so that they can just fire a lot.
They actually were powerful as produced, utilised special materials that can widstand high amount of heat. Aaand also, Jango had them customised - they were lighter for faster draw.
DR-45 “Dragoon” Cavalry Blaster always felt like a good choice to me

BTW, the blasters hidden in the Naboo Royal Throne (chair) were only secretly installed not long prior to the blockade of Naboo by the Trade Federation. The throne was altered by Padme Amidala's Royal Bodyguard entourage as a precaution, much to the chagrin of Captain Panaka who was appalled of the idea of desecrating an age-old relic of the Naboo Royal Office. (This information according to the 2020 book "Queen's Peril" by E.K. Johnston.)
My favorite blaster and the one I would use is the Z-6 roter blaster

For my main weapon it's either the DC-15A Blaster Rifle or the Z6 Rotary Blaster Cannon, my secondary would be the DC-15S Blaster Carbine, and my sidearm is going to be the DC-17 Blaster Pistol.
DC-17M and the blastech pistol from republic commando. Or a westar mandolorian blaster pistol. Both are good if you are a soldier, or bounty hunter.

Lando in RoTJ 1983 uses a modified HK P9S 9mm pistol in a chest rig. P9S were not common, mostly used in Europe 1980s 1990s.

Reminds me of literally every Spikeyvincibles universe's common and iconic type of Firearm, so I can use every single Blaster Firearm, used for Ranged Combat, and Close Quarters Combat, and the list goes on. I'll use this video, for my Spikeyvincibles ranks. 😊😊😊 Literally every single Spikeyvincibles multiverse series, use the Blaster Firearm, to go along with their own set of Melee Weapons, and Super Abilities, and many others, and the difference is they neither wear down, or overheat, not even a single one, and also it was effective against Generic enemies, such as the Deviantron Genericons, and the Audirookie Gangsters Clan-troopers, but not always against Cosplayers, the Revengeance-led Forces, and several other Bosses, and Mini-Bosses, and there's more batches of them, and so on. So I'll add that to my list, as well. 😊😊😊 As a bonus, the difference between the Star Wars Blaster Firearms, and Spikeyvincibles Blaster Firearms, is that the Spikeyvincibles' Firearms neither punch through the characters, such as the Playable Characters' Armor, or Clothings, nor kill them, instead they were useful enoughs, against the Generic Foot Soldiers, such as the Audirookie Gangster-friendly Allies, the Loyal Deviantron Genericons, and the Rebel Deviantron Genericons, and they were also used against the Rebel Deviantrons, and their supporters, one of the most Rebel-targeting usages, were the Innocence-friendly Law Peoples and Police-led Forces, and their supporters, when it comes to saving the Innocent lives, and supporting the Revengeance-led Tokyian-led Deviantron Forces, and their supporters. I’m a bit torn. I’d like a small arsenal with options, but if I have to choose one it’ll be between the DH-17 and the A-180. The DH-17 is a simple but reliable carbine/pistol good for a lot and can blast wamp rats or thieves with equal efficiency. The A-180 can be carried as a pistol that is slim and compact enough to carry openly or concealed, or you can use extra components to turn it into a blaster rifle for mid-ranged pest control, a sniper for long range for hunting and an ion configuration for blasting droids or stunning unwanted guests. The DH-17 is simple and common, easy to replace and find parts for maintenance, but the A-180 is more versatile. So it would honestly depend on my situation: as a rebel the A-180 is a good option for combat effectiveness, and as a farmer or regular Ben in Star Wars I’d probably go with the DH-17.
TL-50 is def my fave, looks cool, can launch a explosive, and has norma full auto blasting!
My heart will always belong to the A280 and its derivatives, they just look too damn fun.

Living in TX depending on the area I like the DL44 but that'd be hard to conceal. The scout trooper one would probably be my best bet for concealed off duty carry

I think you might have gotten some info crossed.
The T16 was an airspeeder (a plane) with a cannon mounted below the cockpit. that is what would be used to hit womp rats.

Just like in real life, Carbine’s reign supreme. Obviously though I’d still have a pistol for self defense and a rifle for hunting but a Carbine is still a jack of all trades weapon to have.

I'm all about the sniper rifle, personally. There's just something about watching from long range as a well placed shot finds its mark, no matter the universe we're talking about.
DL-44 used by Han it reminds me of the real world .44 Magnum revolver large and powerful yet still can be conceled away if needed.

Repeating blasters will always be my favorite. Just dumping massive amounts bolts never gets old. The Z-6 being my favorite because Star Wars Minigun go brrrr.
The DC-15A Rifle and DC-17M are also favorites of mine. The Republic just has some of my most favorite weapons in all of Star Wars.
Does anyone know if the Z-6 could be hooked up to a portable backpack power pack and gas/ammo tank like in Rogue One?
@@mandalorianexecute66 Tell that to all the Clones who free arm it. I don't think it needs any other than as extra power and ammo. Wait, that's actually a brilliant idea. Virtually infinite ammo would have been great for the Clones who wield the Z-6, like Hevy who was the only one we see actually run out of ammo with the thing.
Mando's disintegrator hits the hardest, but Baze's repeater is my favourite

boba fetts blaster, and normal mandalorian blasters have to be my two favourites. Even tho I don't like the andor show that much, I do also like his blaster.

Thanks for the video. As a point of constructive criticism, please refrain from writing your script so that you repeat yourself at the beginning of each new point on your list like this:
“Number 7: Sniper Rifles. Sniper Rifles are…” Hearing the same phrase twice in a row is unnecessary and becomes harder on the listener as the list progresses. This is especially true if we are watching along and see the word “sniper rifle” on the screen. Three examples of the exact same words in our heads is more than enough.
You can rewrite that kind of sentence to read something like:
“A step up in the power from the standard carbines is the Sniper Rifle. It was used by…” That is a much more conversational transition and can still be accompanied by a numbered transition frame if you want to include that for viewers that visually search for topics in the video.
You never have to read the number of the item in a list like this. It is not a ranking and conveys no information to someone listening.
Please take this advice in the spirit that is given: with hopes that you continue to entertain and reach more viewers.

I believe Luke Skywalker's rifle was a slug thrower. These rifles, which I believe were similar in concept to earthly firearms, had a projectile which was propelled by a chemical explosion. I believe that this, less expensive weapon was popular with fringers and the Tuskins.

a kinetic weapon is objectively better than a blaster. the only reason they aren't used in star wars is because they don't want to show gore in a PG rated film. the most efficient sci-fi weapon is, in theory, a coilgun. to be fair though, in movies you want stuff to feel like fireworks, so the colorful gas bolts do accomplish that goal.

I do mean the a180 I think, it's a modifiable blaster in battlefront 2015 and it's a fun concept, so I'd want to use it.
