"Super Mario Bros. Trouble sleeping is a romhack of Super Mario Bros. 2 USA for NES. Created by Rohbert, it is meant to be a fun and challenging hack for experienced SMB2 players. Many tricks and techniques used in the speedrun of SMB2 will be of extreme value in this romhack. (Ladder jumps, double jumps, 1-3 clip, fast carpet) This hack features 16 original levels with a few custom sprites with custom behaviors. There are 2 warps, that are required and therefore all 16 levels must always be played. Each level features a unique color palette and most levels have a hidden 1-up mushroom to find."

4-2 kids. That clever use of screen warping to make a certain highlight of the game is why us old guys talk about ancient gaming history.
For some reason, I was expecting the game to be interrupted with Mario waking up ever so often and going back to sleep. The game would continue from the very spot you were at when Mario woke up :D That would have been super crazy!

Idk I imagined Mario 2 as Mario sleepwalking through the levels, ironically waking up at night (hence only getting mushrooms and hearing the SMB1 music then) and getting dragged back into the dream world
I've wondered where Bowser went when I first saw Wart when I played SMB 2.
I like how Mario's face gets chopped off at the title screen.
Some weird and corny colours in this, but i like that, makes it more funny and graphic.

It’s new. And it’s weird that I never noticed pretty much every other Mario game has a trampoline except this one
