"It’s Super Mario Bros. 3! This time, it has 8 brand new worlds for Mario and Luigi to explore. Jumping on goombas, kicking turtle shells and some small surprises as well, this has everything you love about the original game but taken a step further. The difficulty is on par with the original game. Each world has its own theme with custom levels, music and graphics."

I know people aren't too happy with the soundtrack, but I'm personally just happy that they did something unique instead of just ripping music from other games like so many hacks do.
So am I, yet the only other SMB3 hack that actually has custom music is Super Mario Bros 3Mix thus making them both the best Mario 3 hacks that would make me eventually yearn to make "SMB3M/UMB3 Editions" of non-custom (save for the backgrounds depending on the hack) SMB3 hacks where they could have music from either one or both of these underrated AF hacks that felt like they took steps from the Super Mario World hacking community (SMWCentral).
I probably would have left the castle, p block and boss themes untouched but the soundtrack sounds like a mix between Kirby, Pokémon and legend of Zelda ish, very much a Gameboy feel it, which is good.

I actually think the soundtrack is good and appreciate that its fresh!
The music and pick a door stages are bad (especially the world 7 fortress) but so far this is one of the better hacks of mario 3 I've played. Feels like a legitimate expansion and not some kaizo garbage only .01 percent of human beings could possibly enjoy.

The music's not anything to write home about, but it gets the job done...if only SMB3 hacking were at the level of Super Mario World 1 and Super Mario 64. Maybe in a few more years, it'll get there. Still, the graphics are impressive.
No tiene mala presentación en cuanto a gráficos, pero, debería haber parches de músicas aparte para ponerle a cualquier super Mario bros 3. Igual muy agradecido por el tiempo y esfuerzo de nuestros amigos los GAMER de nivel alto creando éstos juegos hack para todos nosotros.

I just started playing this one. I get that changing music on the NES is a pretty impressive feat, but I wish there was an option for vanilla SMB3 music, cuz I am not a fan of the music in this hack, they're just not good melodies, with a few exceptions, like I think the map screens are alright.
Aesthetically it makes up for it. Loved the vapor wave and candy land worlds.
Fully agree. The level select music for World 1 was pretty good. The stage music just sounded wierd. Didn't have proper rhythm. Sounded more like random sounds just thrown together. Whoever made the music for this doesn't really understand music composition.
The score was probably written by AI. With that said, I kinda dislike the music in a lot of hacks. But I just started watching this video, and I already really hate it lol!

I started playings this hack yesterday. I'm at world 5, so far so good! Enjoying it a lot! But yes, music is not that good sounds very 8bit low quality 😅
The music is kind of weak in spots... There isn't much of a proper flow or rhythm to it.
Not just that, but they picked the wrong notes to share with the sound effect channel. It really messes with it & makes it sound even worse than it already is.

There is nothing fine about this music. It lacks even a basic rhythm or melody. It sounds like random blips & bleeps. Whoever made this does not understand even the basics of music composition.

Looks like the link works and the site has allowed me to download the patch file. I have changed the dislike to a like. Sometimes when I'm not aware of what's going on in the website's end, I tend to get real salty like my sailor cousin Captain SeaPlunder. But seriously, all jokes and one-off character namings aside, I'm glad things are back to normal.

@@DoctahFlippahMy channel is dedicated to ROM hacks, but without commentary. However, there are channels similar to mine that do have comments. This depends on each channel and has nothing to do with whether emulation is ilegal or not. By the way, I don't distribute ROMs because I know that is illegal.
